Deniz (dento) | 54 comments Hi, I'm trying to combine some editions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, but when I open the combine page, there are 16 pages of Shakespeare's works to choose from. The ones I want to combine are on different pages due to different first letters. How do I combine them?

Empress (the_empress) If the title is in the same language type it in the search field and combine the appropriate results. If it is not you can change it temporary (copy somewhere the foreign name because it will get lost. Copy the the ISBN so that you can find the edition which details you've changed), then search, combine, and revert changes of name.

I hope that is understandable enough.

Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments If all the editions are English you can filter for "Midsummer" and that should help.

If you're trying to combine non-English editions the easiest way is to add "merge" or your initials to the end of each title and then filter for that. Once you've combined them, go back in and edit the titles which will be easy to find if you Ctrl+F search for "merge" (or your initials).

Deniz (dento) | 54 comments I changed the name of the non-English edition temporarily, filtered the search, combined them and then changed the title back. Thank you for your suggestions!

Empress (the_empress) Welcome. I think Vicky's idea for the name change is easier. I will use it next time I have similar problem.

♡B♡ | 19 comments There are two of the same books on the authors profile...another librarian I am guessing made one not realizing that the author already made one. But I figured merging was better since there are people on the other one that marked it to read.

Thank you! :)

One is an ebook the other is an audiobook so combined not merged. There ARE three ebooks, but two are definitely valid editions with unique ISBNs. Will need more investigation to be sure that the 3rd eBook isn't also valid :)
