I've about finished the fifth book, Wolf's Prize, in my After the Crash series and am looking for someone who has never read the series to read it. I have several beta readers, but they've all read the previous books. I want to know if someone new is able to follow the world-building. I hate to repeat myself and bore readers who have been in the world before, but then again, I don't want to confuse new readers. here is the blurb:
"Ellie Burnet married her sweetheart and expected to live happily ever after, surrounded by their children, family and friends. As the adored human cousin of an Alpha wolf, she feels safe and loved. But when her handsome young husband moves them to a distant city and dies in an accident, Ellie and their young son are left defenseless among strangers. Separated from her son and sold to be the prize for a Bride Fight, Ellie prays for rescue.
Quill Wolfe still mourns the loss of the girl his wolf chose for his mate. Sickened by nearly six years of guarding women in an Omaha whorehouse, he has returned to the clean freedom of the den. When word reaches Quill that his mate is widowed and in danger of being forced into an unwanted marriage, he rushes to claim her. His love for her is still strong, his heart yearning for her to accept him. But though she is grateful for his rescue, Ellie has been a widow for only a few months. How can Quill expect Ellie to accept him so soon?"
The story is the length of a series romance, 58,000 words. If you are interested, please pm me or email me at maddybarone@gmail.com Thanks!
