How did Tasha kill Queen Tatianna without turning Strigoi? Was it because it was death by stake?

In earlier books, Rose couldn't see the spirits because of the wards around the Court. Why could she see them in this book?

A moroi can willingly turn strigoi if they kill while they are feeding. So if they killed by using a gun or dagger they wouldn't turn.

I don't really know the answer to the second question because I wondered about that too. Though I do have a theory. Rose porposely sort out the ghost of queen Tatiana in the last book while in the other books she unintentionally saw the ghosts. She didn't will them to appear like she did at the court.

Anyway that's my theory. There are alot of mistakes in the series and maybe this is one of them. You'll have to excuse Mrs Mead for that

SHE KILLED HER WITH THE HELP OF ROYAL GUARDIAN JAMES.
ROSE WAS SEEING GHOST WITHIN WARDS BECOZ SHE LET DOWN HER SAFETY BARRIER WITH THE WORLD OF DEAD.

She opened her mind to ghosts in SK when she needed Mason to tell her what happened to Dimitri but she still had to travel outside the schools wards in order to see him.

I think RM just messed up a little and forgot about that little fact. It's not the first time it's happened.

2. The last time Rose manage to see Mason (faintly), there's a part of the ward that got ripped/broken... Uh-oh... we all know what that means
