Misty Is this book basically 'The Witching Hour,' 'Lasher,' and 'Taltos' combined? Or is this a completely seperate story? I've read the 3 books listed above, but I wouldn't want to miss out on something if this a whole other story... nor would I want to buy another copy of 3 stories I already have (some in duplicate.) Any insights?

Erica look at the cover, it says it is a trilogy. Maybe that helps.

Maria Erica is right. It tells the begining story of Lasher and his link to the Mayfair family.I liked this one the best. Taltos I found to drag. Lasher was not bad. If you like historic details, as always Anne Rice does not disappoint. Sorry for the REALLY late reply.
