I am a great fan! Started with her "The Palace of Illusions", then read "The Mistress of Spices" and now reading "Sister of my Heart".

She paints pictures with words...and transports the reader to another world.

same here, though I have not completed sister of my heart. I found it a bit dragging compared to others. I have also read another of her books - forgot the title, but the one where 8 strangers are stranded in a visa office or so..
