TonyQ (tonytheq) | 175 comments I have to admit - am struggling with this one. Had a plan then realised it was rant rather than rebellion. Not thr rebellious type I'm afraid - even my mother will back that up. Was a quiet baby and a quiet teenager.

message 52: by TonyQ (new)

TonyQ (tonytheq) | 175 comments No - I am rebelling against myself and determined to get more than one vote this time!!

message 53: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments That's the spirit! I sometimes find it hard to get going but if I make the effort I always enjoy the act of writing. It makes me realise how good an author needs to be to do that with a whole book!

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Sometimes it's torture :~/

message 55: by C.C. (new)

C.C. Hogan (cc-hogan) | 84 comments OOh, OOh, I have one ... er, how do I send it?

(Me thick new person)

message 56: by C.C. (new)

C.C. Hogan (cc-hogan) | 84 comments Ok, worked it out ...

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Oh good.

Yeah just click Ignite's name then the send message button.

Good on ya, CC!

message 58: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Good oh. Got yours CC - 4 entries in - and you've got till Wednesday morning.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Four???

C'mon people! It sounds like a wet weekend for most of you.

Write!

message 60: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments So in the space of a few days my odds have dropped from a 100% certainty to just 25%

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Unless you've written all four?

message 62: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments *Shush!"

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Oops

Sorry

message 64: by C.C. (new)

C.C. Hogan (cc-hogan) | 84 comments Its ONLY 200 words ... I mean, what can go wrong???

(Opens can of Dr Pepper)

message 65: by B J (new)

B J Burton (bjburton) | 2680 comments I don't think we should encourage any more entries. Knowing I can finish no worse than fourth is a comfort.

message 66: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments You're taking advantage of the fact that I can't enter so I won't be below you in the rankings, BJ. :)

message 67: by B J (new)

B J Burton (bjburton) | 2680 comments It may just be me being thick, or my very naive approach to life, but I don't see why you can't enter just because you are collecting the other entries. Go on - you know you want to!

message 68: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Actually, I think it means I have an advantage in that I've seen what others have written - I certainly can't vote because to me they aren't anonymous.

message 69: by B J (new)

B J Burton (bjburton) | 2680 comments Ah - so it could be an advantage being able to avoid all the mistakes the rest of us have tumbled into.

message 70: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Well, at least I could choose a different angle!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments You should have wrote yours before you saw the others Ignite.

Oh well. Next time.

message 72: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Ah, but you see, I'm so honest - I could SAY I'd written mine first - and lied in me teeth. But I can't!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Yeah but we all know you wouldn't do that.

message 74: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments *rushes off to do it*

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Double entrendes in every thread.

I approve. ;)

message 76: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments You're my inspiration!

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Wow. Don't think I've ever inspired anyone before!

message 78: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Expired?

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Certainly. Like month old milk

Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) (nosemanny) | 8590 comments OK, I'm going to write mine now. The muse hasn't exactly struck, more sort of smeared...

message 81: by Marc (new)

Marc Nash (sulci) | 4313 comments Good luck everyone who enters. Can't wait to read how you've tackled my prompt

message 82: by Jim (new)

Jim | 21812 comments Well my entry is in. He says; smugly.

message 83: by H.M (new)

H.M | 25 comments Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to go over the word count ever so slightly? Mine is currently 214 words. Thanks.

message 84: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments That's near enough for jazz, I think. :)

message 85: by H.M (new)

H.M | 25 comments Ignite wrote: "That's near enough for jazz, I think. :)"

Thanks. I've got it done to 203 now.

message 86: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Hill | 1599 comments I wanted to enter this but I may not have time any more :(

Good luck to all entrants!

message 87: by David (last edited May 14, 2013 12:03PM) (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Holly has thrown away 11 words, you could start with those.

message 88: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Hill | 1599 comments Haha, David! Right, anyone with spare words, please just message me and I'll assemble them for my entry! ;)

H.M | 25 comments David wrote: "Holly has thrown away 11 words, you could start with those."

Lol! If I lose though, I will blame those excellent 11 words!

You wish...he he! ; )

Oh by the way, how long does the poll for this stay up for? Thanks.

message 92: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Rebellion is free, so that's 12. I can spare a few "and"s and "the"s. I've got loads of them.

message 93: by Jonathan (last edited May 14, 2013 12:16PM) (new)

Jonathan Hill | 1599 comments The poll's usually up for two weeks, I think! Or it could be one. No, I think it's two. I sound confident, don't I? It's at least a week, probably two!!

Thanks, David. Who knew writing was this easy?! ;)

message 94: by David (new)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments With enough contributors, imagine the novel we could write... Hold on, that's reminiscent of Shakespeare and typing monkeys.

message 96: by TonyQ (new)

TonyQ (tonytheq) | 175 comments Sorry, with all that's been going on I never got mine in. Will be voting though.

✿Claire✿ (clairelm) | 2602 comments I just read the start of this thread and I didn't realise there was voting on the entries!
