E-Book catalog access to libraries.

I've almost stopped looking for library e-books since I rarely find anything I want to read available.
I've gotten a better selection in my neighboring city, but I never even look for library e-books unless I'm taking an airplane trip. I don't need a due date on my Kindle added to all my print book due dates. It makes my library math even more unfavorable. But when I'm traveling by plane, I don't read anything print so I'm sure of being able to finish one library e-book. Unfortunately, when I went to New York at the end of March, I made a choice that didn't engage me. The good thing about that is that I got through more of the books that were already on my Kindle.
I have found Overdrive to be fairly user friendly and have no difficulty finding back list books to read. I keep them on my wish list and always have at least one Kindle library loan book going, sometimes two. I admit to not loving the due dates, but free is fabulous! I am glad to see larger catalogs may become available, though of course the library systems do have to order them to have availability.

Low hanging fruit, IMHO - since the electronic versions won't walk off and disappear like their print counterparts -- expansion of ebooks into business books. (My library anyway) doesn't stock many of them.
