Rivka I did a search and I did not find that ISBN to be assigned to the book.

Not really relevant. Many ISBNs won't show up in searches, especially pre-release.

Confused about the "existing edition" notation. This is a brand new release--has never published before. It's original (and only) paperback ISBN is 9781426754845.

Both of the editions that were already listed here are ebook editions, not paperback.
