kayla (cupcakeam0ur) | 125 comments i know right, my sister loved the part when he waved the knife, just supper funny!

kayla (cupcakeam0ur) | 125 comments i kinda liked that part but, i really wanted to see it happen like it did in the book though:(

message 205: by Tiny (new)

Tiny ♥Hearts (tinyhearts) aww I totally loved the baseball scene man that was awesome!!! Ashleys pitch was so badass!! She totally got Alices character down to a tee, besides the height lol and emmett and edward crashing in to each other was funny i was wondering, does edward swear and give the middle finger?? he does aye?? lol random thought!!

message 206: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't think Edward does that, he's supposed to be a gentleman. :)

message 207: by Lydia (new)

Lydia The baseball scene was cool.

message 208: by Tiny (new)

Tiny ♥Hearts (tinyhearts) Oh and have you noticed how funny Robert Pattinson is?? Hes pretty funny in the commentary part of the movie lolz and someone said they like the kitchen scene I liked that too...especially the part when Rosalie asks "is she even italian?" emmetts like "her names bella" like as in "duh" lmfaooo

message 209: by [deleted user] (new)

Rob's funny, people don't give him enough credit. I think most of the jokes come from anxiety. Anyone that's seen his interviews can tell he is a nervous wreck most of the time.

message 210: by Tiny (new)

Tiny ♥Hearts (tinyhearts) totally right haha! but he seems like a fun guy to meet I guess lol yeah you can tell hes nervous by the way he runs his hands through his hair like always! lmao but he seems fun lol

message 211: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha, yeah. He's a riot. :)

message 212: by kayla (new)

Mellady77 Stibich | 1149 comments Edward flips Emmett off while they collide playing baseball. It's when they are on the ground...

message 218: by [deleted user] (new)

Really he does? in the movie?

message 219: by Lydia (new)

Lydia It looks like that.

message 220: by [deleted user] (new)

message 225: by Gorfo (new)

Gorfo My favorite part...I'd have to say when it ended! Seriously, the movie was almost completely different from the book. It was funny though. Best Part would be when Jasper is first introduced! He looked like Edward Scissorhands or something. I was like gosh, I hope he's breathing

message 226: by [deleted user] (new)

Gorfo wrote: "I was like gosh, I hope he's breathing

Lol! I personally didn't think much of it at first.

message 227: by Kate (new)

Kate | 69 comments EDWARD SCISSORHANDS!!!! That's exactly what he looked like!!! Soooo true!!!!!

message 228: by Gorfo (new)

Gorfo yes. i've been thinking about it for like 1 yr!

message 229: by Lydia (new)

Lydia scissorhands? Srry. I ask the dumb questions

message 230: by Gorfo (new)

Gorfo ya havent u ever seen it

message 231: by [deleted user] (new)

Lydia wrote: "scissorhands? Srry. I ask the dumb questions"

No worries, that's not a dumb question. Edward Scissorhands is character Johnny Depp played in a Tim Burton film in the 90s.

message 232: by Gorfo (new)

Gorfo its one of my favorite movies

message 233: by Lydia (new)

Lydia Oh, thank you, Melzz. ;D

message 234: by [deleted user] (new)

No problem. :)

message 235: by Kate (new)

Kate | 69 comments Oh my gosh. I'm going to think of Edward Scissorhands every time I see Jasper now. His messy hair, the way he stares wide-eyed at everybody, the way he purses his lips, so Edward Scissorhands!! I loved Johnny Depp in that movie, btw.

Sorry for the rant. I'm just very excited by this new enlightenment. :D

I luv Johnny Depp in any movie :P

message 237: by M (new)

M (readergirl67) I love the CUllen's house. Very pretty. I also thought the baseball scene was well done.

message 238: by Gorfo (new)

Gorfo Maria wrote: "I love the CUllen's house. Very pretty. I also thought the baseball scene was well done. "

The Cullen house was cool and all but it was a horrible replication. IT'S SUPPOSED to be a white colonial with mostly the entire back made up of glass (that's what i think the book said) not alllllll glass. The baseball scene was pretty amazing though, one of the few scenes which was a credit to the book.

message 239: by Kate (new)

Kate | 69 comments I agree that the house wasn't right, but I think they did the best they could with what they had. They used an actual house instead of a set, so they did what they could with it. I think it could have been worse.

Gorfo Kate wrote: "I agree that the house wasn't right, but I think they did the best they could with what they had. They used an actual house instead of a set, so they did what they could with it. I think it could..."

It definitely coulda been worse.

message 241: by M (new)

M (readergirl67) Ok, so the house didn't go with the book. It was still very pretty and they did a good job with putting a lot of glass in.

message 242: by Marcelle (new)

Marcelle (masso) | 471 comments i love the scene wher Bella in the woods with Edward and she asked him ..HOW OLD ARE YOU?AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN 17? AND HE TOLD HER TO SAY IT OUTLOUD THAT HE S A VAMPIRE

message 243: by Grace (new)

Grace Ok, I'm new to the group so I've just read all 263 messages on this thread! So my favorites (I just saw it two days ago!)...
1. the baseball scene, just as I imagined, WOW
2. I can't believe no one mentioned Edwards eyes the first time you see them up close in Biology class OMG I think I swooned!! Pass me a fan! I think I forgot to breath. Oh heck, that whole scene is excellent.
3. the first time she sees the Cullens in the cafeteria, they all looked as I imagined them, Alice is perfect and so is Jasper. The way he looks is bang on. The way they glided in.
4. the gun scene when Edward meets Bella's dad...LOL (my 13 year old son liked this part!)
5. the first time they kiss in her bedroom and he has to push her away. his control.....you can feel it. (Yes, I think she should have been wearing pj bottoms.)
6. when they arrive at school together, the smirk on his face and his too cool attitude LOL
There were many more scenes in the book that I liked better than the movie version.

message 244: by Natalie (new)

Natalie | 11 comments Wow..I'm surprised to see so many of the same answers on here...lol. I'm a sucker for the romantic cheesy moments so my favorites were:
*The Meadow Scene where he reveals himself to her and he refers himself as a sick masacatic Lion and her as the dumb lamb..super cute.(tho the book was better)
*When James is after her and they rush Bella away and Edward promises her he'll let nothing happen to her and would keep her safe *swoons*.
*When they kiss for the first time...HOT!!
*When Alice and Jasper and Emmitt kill James and dance around the fire..quite funny!!
*And finally, when they are at prom together and she thinks he's going to turn her..super cute, and plus we get an excuse to see Edward in a suit!!..super hot!! :)

message 245: by Andrea (new)

Andrea | 7 comments OK I don't know if anyone has mentioned this previously but my absolute fave bit of the movie is when Edward walks into the cafeteria for the first time and Jessica is saying to Bella how gorgeous he is but obviously nobody there is good enough for him and then Edward smiles!! ohhhhhhh I LOVE it!! when I first bought the DVD i watched that bit about 10 times over! lol

Some other obvious faves are:

* The baseball scene
* When Edward and Bella first kiss
* When Edward and Bella walk into school together and he puts his arm around her ***heart skips a beat***!!!

Hmmm I feel like watching it now! Might have to put the DVD on tonight I think! lol :)

message 246: by Gorfo (last edited Feb 10, 2010 08:33AM) (new)

"what a sick, masochistic lion"
