Anyone else wanted to punch Kristen Stewart in the face???

And Twilight wasn't great source material to start with, sure, but the better parts of the story were swapped for staring and montages. That is not Meyer's fault.
Kristen Stewart terribly sucked at portraying Bella. Her facial expressions were totally blank and unemotional. So yeah, I kinda do wanna punch her.

Umm...YES! I really don't have any idea why they put her in this role. And while I didn't necessarily love ALL of the novels, the first one had my attention - but I refuse to watch the movies because of her. no offense :P
I would totally LOVE to punch her in the face and NOT just for her terrible acting (which does play a big part in it) but also for being such a F*****G bitch towards RP, who btw made an okay Edward, probs not the best, I mean WHO cheats on HIM with some ugly 40-odd year old director I mean EWWWW!!!! You may think I'm being a bit OTT but seriously if I had the chance to punch her I sooooooo would, WHO wouldn't?????
And I was hoping most users on Goodreads can type like rational human beings.

I think that everyone wanted to punch Kirsten Stewert in the face!!! When she played Bella, I have to say that she was too whiny and really bad at acting. There are some movies where she is good but Twilight wasn't her thing and I believe that y'all agree
She has that same facial expression in all the films she's been cast for, I can't say acted in because that implies she does act, just watch Into the Wild. Even as Joan Jett looks uncomfortable and constipated. I loved Bella; I thought she was strong, kind, mature and ever so romantic. Pretty much every actress ever would have been a better Bella.
I would have cast Ellen Page or maybe Leighton Meester. Even Rooney Mara (see Tanner Hall).
Anyone else have a list of better Bellas?

But all the acting - except for the incredible Michael Sheen - was pretty weak in that series. As to her person or what she does in real life, it doesn't really hold interest to me.
I agree, I thought she was unemotional in the movies because of her character, but in other movies, it seems the same way. Even when she plays a character that's supposed to be energetic and happy...she seems like she just doesn't want to be there. I swear she has a touch a botox in her or something. She hardly ever smiles. I like her, but sometimes it's like 'What is it going to take for you smile?!'

Has anyone ever seen Kristen in real life, she has dead eyes there is no emotion at all, for someone so in love she never even looked Edward in the eyes certainly no passion was involved. So it is impossible for her to act as if she has any emotions, she was appalling in Twilight and Snow White (which I saw because someone else put it on) she really cannot act in films or out and let's face it Jodie Foster carried Panic Room.

Ugh, at some of the awards shows I've watched she goes to claim a prize (with the other cast members, I don't think she'll ever win one for herself) and she doesn't show any emotion...at all..it's extremely irritating. I mean she's bloody winning an award, not looking at herself in the mirror.
Her acting is also lame, but not as infuriating as her normal behaviour. She didn't even bother to do something nice with her hair, it looked like she'd just gotten out of bed!

Not really. Bella came off as kind of a flat, whining and selfpitying character without much personality, and I think Kristen Stewart portrayed that quite well. Then again, she didn't bring much life to her character in Snow White and the Huntsman either, so maybe she's just a one-trick pony who's good at portraying emo characters.That's not enough to make me want to punch her either though, there are worse actresses than her in the world.
I think much of the hatred towards her has to do with the fact that it's considered "cool" to hate her, and also because she allegedly dated and cheated on Robert Pattinson, who many deranged Twi-hards have a major crush on, and they think Kristen Stewart is the only thing standing between them and him.
Yes, I do!!! I really don't like her acting. Although she did do much better in Breaking Dawn part 2 than in the others

Ok so first of all she was chosen and there is nothing you can do about that. Oh and Kristen is a flipping great actor and also I don't think she showed a lack of emotion. I know why she was chosen for the part. At the end of the day she was chosen from the start from twilight till breaking dawn p2. And every time i watch the movies I love them. Personally I don't think there was any bad actor in the movies. To Twilight, New moon, Eclipse, Breaking. Dawn and Breaking Dawn p2 I didn't see Kristen make a flaw. And really punch her in the face? Kinda stupid when you thing about this. But honestly everybody has there own opinion and the only flaw Bella made was choosing Edward over Jacob! My case aside you may not agree but this is what think. And to the people calling her a bad actor you should watch some of her other movies an stop basing everything on the twilight series. Oh and people hate is a strong word and considering this group is called proud of it I think Kristen would be upset as am I feeling very sad for her at this moment. Oh and for god sake give the woman a brake I think the director would of said something if he thought she wasn't acting the part as told!

i didn't want to just punch her. I wanted to actually kick her ass. such a bad actress, I can't believe people still hire her.

Well I think Kirsten Stewart actually made another film..."On the road"...but it wasn't a good film
Kristen Stewart sucks ass ! as simple as that ! she acted exactly the same way through all the movies the only movie I did like her in was twilight breaking dawn pt 2 . the movies would have been so much better without her .
