Radagast the Brown, one of the wizards of Middle Earth, whom Saruman used to get Gandalf to Isengard in the Fellowship, and the guy with the hedgehog and the Rhosgobel rabbits in The Hobbit film ;)

Anyway, on topic, lol. I would be Eowyn or Arwen, I think. Eowyn had the courage (or stupidity, depending on your point of view, lol) to run off in the army dressed like a man and kill a ringwraith, which was awesome. Plus, she got to marry Faramir, who is also awesome. But Arwen's an elf, and I love elves. She got to live in Lothlorien for a while, and then moved to Gondor to marry Aragorn. And Aragorn is pretty amazing, too. :D
There aren't really all that many female protagonists to choose out of ^^ It's kind of Eowyn, Arwen, Galadriel, Rosie Cotton, or Goldberry. Out of them I'd rather be Eowyn. :)

I know, right? If I had to be a male protagonist (lol) I'd probably pick Aragorn. He's a leader, and an inspirational one, at that. But he's not the kind that was born with everything he ever wanted. He had to work for it - all of it. It's the kind of person I aspire to be. :) But, uh...I don't want to be a man, so Eowyn it is. xD
Arwen. I've always wanted to be an Elf ;-)
I'd pick Aragorn for the same reasons L.Y said. If not him, then Legolas. I'd probably spend that day sword fighting or doing archery.

I would be Treebeard, so I could speak and think in Entish, and know the lore of trees and Ents, be truly close to and rooted in nature.
I'd be Beorn from The Hobbit. Definitely the book version, NOT the film version! I always liked the relationship he had with animals and his ability to shape shift into a bear. Which would be a lot of fun with my neighbors. Show up as a bear, scare the day lights out of them, then change back and act as if nothing happened. Them: "Did you see that huge bear??!!"
Me: "What bear?"
Craig, "I'd be Beorn from The Hobbit." Hmm, that's an interesting and exciting pick. I agree with many of the comments above, Eowyn is an awesome character and defiantly my favorite female in the LOTR.
Now to what character I would want to be, that would have to be a really hard decision. Sigh, I just like everyone SOOOOOO much but alas I can't be them all, :( Sniff!.
Well to who I would want to be, please don't hate me for my decision but I think I would like to be Tauriel. Mainly because she is so strong and cool and independent (Just like me:)) but a partly because she gets to be around Legolas and Thranduil two of my favorite, nay my FAVORITE, elves in Middle Earth. (And she has a romance thing with Kili and for a dwarf he's pretty cute::)) So yeah Tauriel. Although I'd much prefer to just be myself and be around everyone that I love so much!
Eowyn because I am a girl, but if I could be anyone it would be either Aragorn because he is just so confident and has no fear and can gather up a ghost army, or Legolas because he is really awesome and wise, I would love to have the wisdom and knowledge of an elf. Really, I would just love to be able to use a sword and a bow and arrow that awesomely.

Hmm.... I would love to be Rosie, since Sam's my favorite because of how loyal and how devoted he is. Second choice is Eowyn because of her determinedness and her confidence. Love her. I like Arwen too but not enough to want to be her.

I would want to be Arwen for a day, not only in the Lord of the Rings universe but if I transformed into Arwen here in the real world, I think that would be amazing.
