this time around I'm going to take notes on the characters and events. As the series moves on, it gets hard to keep track of everything.
Me too. I forgot the names of the other main characters :)
Seriously, itz kind of confusing with so many characters and details!
I am totally 100% up for a reread. I kind of have this A Song of Ice and Fire addiction which leads me to remember tons of fact about the series and a lot of asoiaf history. I'm pretty much a complete nerd when it comes to this series xD
@Pehel, if ever there will be a test about GOT, im sure to fail it lol
When it comes to books like GOT that have a large amount of content it gets tricky sometimes. However it just takes a bit of practice in reading those types of books. The all time most complex series. is Malazan Book of the Fallen, it's insane how much background information and characters there are.
If something is confusing http://www.tor.com/features/series/a-... will probably help as the explanations are very clear.
Who all love Arya here? :D Isn't she amazing!?
I love her, but she does go through a lot in the books. I also love Tyrion, both on the book and on the TV show.

I finished Part two of a Dance with Dragons back in March, so I don't exactly remember what happened in the first book. I also love Arya, Tyrion and even Sansa, feeling like the minority here (: Someone should make a thread for the tv show !

I'm taking it slow too, I was half way done with it a few months ago, but I started to read it again from the beginning and I realized I missed on some things :) Like the age..and Sansa is only 11 :)

I'm on chapter nine. The Lannisters are still in Winterfell.
I'm about 11% in. Good so far, I'm already absorbed in it!

Jamie and Cersei Lannister seem to follow the footsteps of Targaryens..the relationship between siblings.

Yes, I agree with you. At first, I didn't like Jamie because of his smug attitude and (view spoiler) but he's always fond of Tyrion and for that I started to like him too.
