Unwind (Unwind, #1) Unwind question

What visuals would you want to see from Unwind, when it becomes a movie?

I need to design some things from this book as if these were props for a movie, for my thesis project. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to read the whole book because of my deadline, so I need your help. Are there any organizations that have clear visuals in the book (logos, flags, symbols, colors, etc) that I can design? I am not looking for "objects" to design (knives, weapons, clothing etc) but rather identification items (logos, crests, symbols, posters, signs, etc)

Really need as much detail as possible. I'd love to share with you what I come up
with at the end. Thank you!

Hey guys, here is a little update. Look at the link and see what I came up with in the end.

i think you should have every part from the book in a movie except for the part where Roland(one of the antagonists) gets unwound.

It's a really quick read - I think you will have a better sense then or at least read the synopsis on wikipedia. You could do signage of Happy Jack Harvest Camp (I think it's called that) the whole camp is done in very bright, primary colours. Also, there are ads throughout the book, advertising organ donations, etc. Or, you could so some kind of scroll, decree logo for the end of the "Heartland War" at the beginning of the book. You could even have a "wanted" poster for the Akron AWOL aka Connor.

Anna In the book it says each camp is privately owned, but must meet certain government standards.

You should definitely show the part where Roland gets UnWound (the antagonist), it shows the issue (that is perceived as bad from the beginning) in a different angle. It'll make people think about the problem. Also you should include a graveyard - that was pretty staple in the book.

Unwinding permission forms that the parents sign- three carbon copies, one is yellow, one is white, and one is pink- I believe.

People keep calling Roland the antagonist. I don't think that's right. Roland definitely makes things harder for everyone, but I think the antagonist is Unwinding itself.

i would want to see two things, the part where Conor is using lev as a sheild, and when the chop shop blows up

Maybe you could try to listen to the audiobook, it might be less time consuming since you can listen to it while doing something else.
I'm reading the sequel right now, but I can't remember any logos or flags, I guess they were not prominent enough for me to remember. Sorry.

kind of concerned that you are leaving a thesis project to such a short timeline...but stepping off my soapbox

how about uniforms - something that the juvvie cops (the people who pick up the unwinds wear); the admiral wore a pseudo-uniform; the white clothes that the tithes wore

there wasn't a lot of obvious symbology in this one - but the second one (Unwholly) has some more
