Man this group used to be so much more active. I'd log on 3 seconds after one of these emails hit my inbox and I'd find that all sign ups have already been filled out.. Feels weird now.. I wonder what happened.Anyway, I'm in.

No preference for the format.
Looking forward to reading this. Sounds pretty intriguing.
I think because there are so many groups that offer books for review now, so members have a lot of books to read. I hardly sign up myself because Im have about 20 to read. Sooo many books so little time LOL
if possible in hard cover of paperback form, I like a book where I can turn the pages with my hand :)
Here is my review. I will post to Amazon. http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/.... Please let me know if you would like it posted elsewhere.
Patricia, thanks for your excellent review. Reprobate is also featured on iTunes, Kobo, and B&N. From what I gathered, Kobo copies reviews from Goodreads (how long that will last now that Amazon bought GoodReads, I don't know), but I have no reviews at all on iTunes and B&N, so if you're able to leave the same review there, I'd appreciate it.

I will post to the other places, though it may be a couple of days before I get to it.
Happy?

Hi Olivia, Thanks for your honest review. I hope you'll enjoy Peccadillo and the short stories.
By the way, Deborah Stern will make an appearance in Rogue, the third novel.
Great book. Thanks for the opportunity to read it.Here is the link for my review.

Wonderful review, Jill, and thanks for posting it on Amazon too. What always surprises me about reviews, is how every reader seems to find their own favourite character in the series. In fact, despite the AAS being 'Katla novels', I'm starting to think many people favour Bram over Katla, and now her pet macaw is also developing fans... :)

Title: Reprobate - A Katla Novel
Author: Martyn V. Halm
Genre: Suspense
Formats Available: Mobi & Epub
Pages: 113,000 words, so 440 pages estimated
Synopsis:
Blessed with an almost non-existent conscience, Katla Sieltjes, expert in disguising homicide, views assassination as an intricate and rewarding occupation. Hidden behind her male alter ego Loki, Katla receives anonymous assignments, negotiates the terms with clients through electronic means, all to protect her identity. Her solitary existence satisfies her until she meets a blind musician whose failure to notice a ‘closed’ sign causes him to wander in on Katla’s crime scene. And Katla breaks one of her most important rules - never leave a living witness.
Recovering alcoholic Deborah Stern reluctantly re-enlists with the DEA as a liaison in The Hague, where her language skills are valued to counter suspected sabotage by Dutch law enforcement officials. After a U.S. Army officer dies on a German NATO base from a heroin/cocaine overdose, the trail leads to Amsterdam. The DEA and the Dutch IPOL launch a joint undercover operation, but not everyone is playing by the same rules.
Reprobate is the first novel in the Amsterdam Assassin Series. With authentic details and fast-paced action, featuring an uncompromising heroine and a supporting cast of unusual characters, Reprobate gives a rare glimpse in the local Dutch culture, information on the famous Dutch capital, the narcotics trade, computer hacking, motorcycle gangs, mehndi bridal tattoos, martial arts, and the brutal effectiveness of disciplined violence.
