It is Sebastian. Some thought it was Alec because if the hair but Cassandra and other sources said its Sebastian.

something makes me think that if this were to happen Alec would tell him to save Clary..he wouldnt want to live feeling like it was his fault Clary died which he would feel that way...Idk its a tricky situation
does anybody know anything about Alec and Magnus' breakup? I feel like maybe if the hypothetical situation were to occur somehow Magnus would swoop in last second and save Alec while Jace saves Clary..

I think he would save clary and I also think if this were to happen Magnus would be somewhere nearby. Also jace would try to find a way to save both so either he would save both or fail and save none or just save clary or save clary and have someone else *coughmagnuscough* save Alec

I think Jace should / would save Alec because he is his parabati and has known Alec most or all of his life. So in a way they are like brothers. ( Is it just me or would you save family first?)

Like Kaylah said, I think Alec would tell him to save Clary because he knows how special Clary is to Jace... plus if this happened right after COLS, i think Alec would feel like he has nothing to live for anyway because Magnus left him :( either way i honestly hope this doesnt happen in COHF cuz i would just die ;(

such a hard question!! hahaha but im sure he would save Clary, i love Alec more than clary and i would be like: "save him!! SAVE HIM!!" but i remember how in city of bones when alec was hurt he said to Clary: "i was supposed to protect him, but i could only think of you" or something like that, but he ALREADY chose Clary above Alec, so i just hope this never happens because otherwise im going to be suicidal

You make a really good point but one I hate to think about. I can't imagine Jace having to choose between those two people. It breaks my heart for him. Both Clary and Alec are so important to him in different ways. I so hope that doesn't happen.

I think he would choose Clary because he says in COB that she feels like home to him. More home than even Alec and Isabelle. It would be a hard decision for him.

Also in COA Jace fears most in the world Clary dying. Of course he would pick her over Alec. As much as it would be a horrible situation.
