Purbita (Read-addict) | 50 comments We read some really great books..yet sometimes there are these parts we wish were different.. Like i did not like what happened to Fred Weasley in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows..
Anyone else who wanted something to turn out differently in an otherwise great book?

Ashley | 38 comments Requiem!!!! The ending of that book sucked! If Lauren Oliver gave it more of an ending then I would've liked it better.

haha I was thinking the same thing. I haven't read HP yet. Well, now I know (view spoiler) (whoever that is).

Dean MacAllister (deanmacallister) Maybe we can make a forum where we just spoil lots of book endings for people. We'll call it 'The Tyler Durden Room'. :P

Arielle Rae Aguilar | 69 comments In Mockingjay the ending was a bit too rushed, as if the author just wanted to get it over with. The rest of the book was great though

in the book thief i didn't like how Max characters ending was i like how it ended but i wish his ending had more to it i feel like his ending was rushed and not that well written and still left me wondering Max was one of my favorite Characters in the book!!:)

Mochaspresso | 27 comments I slip up and forget to use spoiler tags all the time. Honestly, I think people who are that concerned with spoilers really have no business on social media sites in the first place. :p

N | 276 comments The ending to the Grapes of Wrath - one of those 'erm my copy is missing like 15 pages' reaction, it didn't end just stopped. Anytime EVER in any book EVER where a dog or wolf dies - WHY????? I'm talking to ALL you dog murdering authors. sigh.

Dean MacAllister (deanmacallister) What are you reading at the moment Mocha? Let us google the ending for you :P

Willett Thomas | 22 comments The Intuitionist by Colson Whitehead. Too many $2 words, when a couple of .35 ones would do.

Raised by Hand, Lifted by the Tides a Southern Child's Memoir by Willett Thomas

I actually crave spoilers. I always read ahead just to see what's going to happen next and then go back. Nasty habit, I know....

Jason Purdy | 32 comments The end of most of Stephen King's longer novels (Tommyknockers, The Stand, etc.) He builds up such a great story over a thousand odd pages that he can never give you an ending that properly satisfies you. The rest of it usually makes up for the meh ending, but it's still a niggle.

Oh my gosh, I so agree with both statements! When I read Grapes of Wrath I was wondering where the ending was. Every dog/wolf dying, just cannot read them. Each time I think of those books I feel like crying on the spot.

Angela Brading (potterhead1117) | 7 comments I loved Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl but I wasn't completley satisfied with the ending. She's a terrific writer though. I highly recommend all three of her books.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Zain Abdullah (heathermasonsbooty) Near the end of Inheritance. The "fight" between Eragon and Galbatorix was disappointing. I mean, Galbatorix spent the better part of 4 books dicking around with Eragon, and in the end, they don't even get a real fight. They have this mind-telepaty battle, and then Galbatorix just sorta... Poofs away. And that was it. He died. One of the most disappointing scenes I've read in a damn good book.

Kristy (lilsis2307) | 43 comments My Name Is Memory ... this is an AMAZING book, but the way it ended and there, currently, is no sequel makes me want to cry. I've read that there may be a second book on its way, and I am hoping that is the case. If you haven't read this book, I highly recommend it, just be prepared to want more afterwards.
