Oh! I want to read this one. I must find my PB copy. I'll be digging again though another box. But this one I know is in the house!
I haven't started either. I can't find my paperback in my "Q" box. I'm debating whether or not to get it on Kindle. I don't remember much about this one.
I'm going to miss her column but I am so ready to read this one. I feel like I need my fix of Bridgertons!
I started this one last night? Why did I do that? It isn't the 13th yet? LOL! Anyway, I'm not very far; just getting ready to start Chapter 4. I'm liking it quite a bit. Love Eloise and Phillip. Man-oh-man! I just don't remember much about this book. It must be one of those I only read once.
Well, the newsletter says the 9th, the thread says the 9th, but the Home Page says the 13th. **shrugs**
I'll be able to start on Monday or Tuesday. I was going by the 13th and just requested it from the library so I should have it Monday.

It was hard to find, I belong to 4 libraries one had the Spanish version, one had the epub version (which my kindle won't read) I got lucky with the 3rd one.
Just finished it and it was really good. This is such a great series! Can't wait to discuss it on Monday.
One library has a large print version, but I would have had to order it sent to my library.Yes, loving the twins.
I haven't started it yet. I'm nit at home and have 2 days of driving ahead of me so I won't start till probably Monday night at the earliest.
Lisa Kay wrote: "I'm a little over 1/3 of the way through. I think the twins [spoilers removed]"I do think they went too far. They did deserve some type of punishment, but it's obvious that isn't working and their misbehavior stems from their trying to gain attention. Negative attention is better than no attention in their minds.
Yeah, I agree. I also think they were too young to really grasp how badly they could have injured her.
I agree that they probably didn't grasp how badly she could have been hurt. I don't think they're mean children, they're just trying to get someone to spend time with them.
I finished it last night. I have to say, I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous ones. Eloise was just a bit too mouthy for my liking. It wasn't as romantic. I did love that her brothers showed up to protect her honor, including Gregory. And it dawned on me while reading this that this is the first time we've really seen Gregory and we've not had any interaction with Francesca except to know she was married before.
I liked her brothers showing up, too. But I thought it was funny they were going to kill him and insist he marry her.

Sir Phillip knew from his correspondence with his dead wife's distant cousin that Eloise Bridgerton was a spinster, and so he'd proposed, figuring that she'd be homely and unassuming, and more than a little desperate for an offer of marriage. Except . . . she wasn't. The beautiful woman on his doorstep was anything but quiet, and when she stopped talking long enough to close her mouth, all he wanted to do was kiss her...
Eloise Bridgerton couldn't marry a man she had never met! But then she started thinking... and wondering... and before she knew it, she was in a hired carriage in the middle of the night, on her way to meet the man she hoped might be her perfect match. Except... he wasn't. Her perfect husband wouldn't be so moody and ill-mannered. And he certainly should have mentioned that he had two young - and decidedly unruly - children, as much in need of a mother as Phillip is in need of a wife.
