Costas Ioannou (greek_tornado) | 77 comments I don't know about you folks, but ever since I started using goodreads I've taken a liking to the quiz feature.
So I decided to open a topic where people can share their own quizzes and/or discuss any quizzes they liked and/or share ideas and suggestions about future quizzes.
I have created a Dark Tower quiz here, and since some people scored low in that one, I created and easier version here. Any feedback/suggestions would be appreciated. Also looking forward to seeing yours! :)

Squire (srboone) | 92 comments That was a rough one! I must have changed about 7 or 8 answers, though I wished I hadn't changed the one about the low-men! And I guessed on #31. And 38! Nice going there, Costas!

Squire (srboone) | 92 comments I scored higher on your longer quiz!

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Hmm, I took the first one, scored 75% on it because I kept over-thinking how specific an answer you were looking for ((view spoiler)). LOL (And I admit to misreading the question about what Mordred called Roland - thought it was asking what he DIDN'T call him. Oh well!)

I think that the question about Cuthbert's feelings is misleading though, because (view spoiler)

Anyway, still a good quiz. I made one a couple years ago: http://www.goodreads.com/quizzes/7-st...

Aditya I always take quizzes on GR after finishing a book, really like that feature & the idea behind this thread. At least we should be grateful that King has a lot of dedicated fans who take the time to add questions or trivia as there are many great books i have read which do not have any such option.

Costas Ioannou (greek_tornado) | 77 comments Wow Squire 38 out of 40. Awesome!

In hindsight I may have went a little too far with the "who did NOT" questions.
Thanks for your feedback! I took your quiz, but it seems I still have a lot to learn about Stephen King...

I always hated those types of questions on multiple guess tests, and the one about the cultural events events mentioned in the DT novels tripped me up. O well, I remembered a lot for having last the series over a year ago.

I have a King quizz in mind and I'll get around to it when I reread the book (probably this summer).

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Costas, (view spoiler)

I'm surprised at how much I remembered as well... it's been a while since my last reread, and that was an audio book. I still think i should have done better though.

I admit that's one I changed once or twice because I wasn't even sure--each member of hi original kat-tet had their own feelings on the matter. But I ended up with the right answer, I guess.

message 10: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Right. If the question was what did Roland think Cuthbert felt, then there's no question about it. But what Cuthbert actually felt was different. But, I could have just overthought it. It's been a couple years since I read it last.

By the way did anyone take this quiz? I only got 1 out of 5 :/

message 12: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) I'm going to read them again soon, so I guess I'll see. Of course it's possible. I just feel like his primary concern over it was more about the toll it would take on the work they were doing, not his personal frustrations, if that makes sense.

message 13: by Squire (new)

Squire (srboone) | 92 comments I got 5/5. I took it awhile ago. I don't see where it stores the date you took it.

Costas Ioannou (greek_tornado) | 77 comments Well done everyone! I've seen a lot of people have taken my quizzes. I may make a Medium difficulty DT quiz some time.
Meanwhile I made a Shining quiz, now that I finished the book. You can find it here. The one someone else made with 30 questions is also pretty good.
All feedback is appreciated!

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) I took this one, and Question #9 is misleading, or at the very least confusing.

I'll fix the question, thanks for your input!
