I only get depressed when my brothers gang up on me, even though they're all younger, or they just oignore me and do something together that's 'boys only'then I just go and read or go on goodreads.

Yes. It doesn't even make sense. I've never treated any guy (or anybody for that matter) the way he treated me. What did I do to deserve it?!
Don't blame yourself, you probably did not do anything, sometimes we take out our hard times on other people, id say he had a lot of stress going on or felt rejected. Either way it was not acceptable though.
He treated me like my problems were minor, that's the problem! And he could freely tell me his problems he was facing. Why couldn't I? He treated me like me and sh*t were the same thing. Ugh, I'm still very angry at him.
The best thing to do is forgive and forget, i know it doesn't seem like the right approach now, but it will be. Your only harming yourself by keeping the grudge, if you keep thinking about it you will force yourself into depression. To make sure it doesn't happen again forget about him, hang out with others, surround yourself with good, supportive friends. If it still bugs you write your problem down on paper and burn it, that seems to help me.
Don't worry. Just tell your BFF how you feel.
my advice is to keep a journal. or a blog, if you want us to see it. just write anything, rant, or pour your heart out on the paper. or you could also make art if that's how you do it :D for musics I just put my phone on shuffle and skip stuffs if I don't like them, and sing on top of your lungs! hope that helps :)
