ABANDONED. Book or series kids in a group colonizing new planet one named Sean.

I read this maybe twenty years ago so some of my memories may be wrong. I think the main characters were part of a group settling on a new planet. One of the kids was named Sean and one of the kids had purple eyes which were aparantly normal for the planet he was born on. If I remember right it was written for middle schoolers but it might have been written for older teens. Sorry I don't remember more.

I don't think it's but we are not of earth. It doesn't seem to have a character named Sean.

I think it was a series, but i could be remembering wrong. I don't remember the cover at all. Not sure when it was set but most likely far future.
