Shou comes off as cold, and sometimes arrogant. He likes to do things his way, because he believes he always has the right way. The samurai lives a free life, he wonders around and does jobs for people for money. In tense and dangerous situations, Shou is calm and knows how to handle himself. One of his favorite things is the sky, and he likes to relax and watch it.

Strengths: Is known as Torai, for his incredible speed and fighting skills.
Weaknesses: Sometimes is too stubborn and doesn't see his flawed ways.
Fatal Flaw: Afraid of losing people close to him.
Likes: Sky, Stars, Clouds, Nature, Drinking, gambling
Dislikes: Annoying people, scumbags, the system
History: Shou was trained under a swords master by the name of Fu. Since Shou had no parents at a very young age, Fu took him in and trained him to be a fine samurai. When war broke out, Fu was killed and Shou took it badly. He joined the army to try and avenge his death. Unfortunately they used him as a weapon. An example of his missions was when Shou slaughtered a whole castle of a waring region. Eventually when in the midst of a job, his close friend was killed and Shou left the army, killing some of the higher ups that wouldn't let him leave. Now he just goes around and does jobs he chooses when people need him.

Most find it odd that this foreign girl would even consider being a Samurai, but it had always been her dream. The restrictions of women in her home country prevented her from being a warrior much like her father and brothers, so she moved oversees to Japan.
Weapons: Swords
Salim uses dual blades, as she is ambidextrous. She's fully capable of taking out a few opponents, or keeping them at bay to say the least.
Appearance:
Salim has sandy blonde hair, that contrasts against her caramel hued complexion. This is a rarity passed down through her family genes, which she and her brothers share. Her eyes are a cerulean blue, and pop out in comparison to any other feature. She's slightly muscular, but not overly built. She's long legged, and hour glass shaped. This allows for smoother movement when she fights.
Personality: Salim is rowdy. Most would describe her as loud and confrontational, but really she's just a happy person. Not everyone can stand her being around them for too long, because of how loud she is. Her exotic nature prevents her from fitting in, and sometimes she can feel a little lonely.
Salim keeps a disconnect with certain authority figures, because of bad experiences with them in her native country. She doesn't mean any harm, it's just how it works. She can be very intuitive when given the chance, and is far more intelligent than she looks. Her appearance sets her apart from those around her, and she likes the diversity she creates.
Strengths: She's all for endurance and speed. She has movements that are feline and viper like, giving her the upper hand in a fight.
Weaknesses: Actual strength. She isn't exactly bulging with muscle, and most of her opponents tend to be male. She's not over powered easily, but she can't do much damage strength-wise.
Fatal Flaw: Her innocence in a foreign place. She knows next to nothing about where she is, and could be easily manipulated.
Likes: Curry- generally all food, sweets, animals, children, sports
Dislikes: Sexism, prejudice, racial slurs that she hears constantly

History: Salim was born into a family of warriors, killing her mother in child birth. Her family has never blamed her, and she prays constantly to her mother for forgiveness. Her family was skilled at many different aspects of war.
War threatened Persia rarely, but when it did, her father and brothers were first up. Her eldest brother, Marmusa, was killed in battle when she was five. Having been closest to him, she was devastated. She vowed to follow in his footsteps and become the best fighter there could be.
She began her training in secret, as her community prohibited women from fighting. Being a fast learner, she caught on quickly to the many techniques, until finally she was ready.
When the next great war rolled around, she was sixteen. Ready for combat, she attempted to register under the ruse of being a man. They rejected her, and her anger provoked her to leave her country without a word to her family.

Okay, sorry if I seem like really annoying or something, but in 1256, wasn't Japan still isolated from other countries? I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that there weren't ships that took people from places like Persia to Japan or anything...

You may be right, but the Mongols were also trying to get to Japan at that time. In retrospect, they very well could have if it wasn't for the Kamikaze Winds. So, if the Mongols were already trying to get there, don't you think it'd be realistic for other countries to try as well? And don't think you some would be able to?

It would take about two years to cross through Persia and get to China, even using the Silk Road. From there a few months to get to Japan. There would probably be issues with getting hired, so then a couple more years depending on when she landed.

Well, then Kazuko's been a Daimyo for about a year. She could've seen Salim was about as good as her and hired her as a guard if you want. Or maybe just as part of her army if you prefer.

Kiri’s complexion is fair, though it is on the verge on becoming tan from being out in the sun for so long. His skin has been marked by several scars when he was an apprentice. Line marks as long as a grown man’s hand are streaked on his back. No one but his family has seen these scars before.
Kiri has a thick head of red hair that is presumably spiky, but is actually soft. His hair reaches down to the middle of his neck, so it’s obviously long. Despite that though, Kiri doesn’t cut his hair that often; when he does, his hair is still pretty long--reaching down to the base of his head. Kiri doesn’t cut his hair for the sole purpose of feeling the wind, but he feels like it’s a weird reason, so he covers it up with the false reason of “cutting my hair takes up too much of my precious time”, but knowing him, it’s a good reason.
Kiri has his father’s dark eyes; they look like the night sky without stars, dark and mysterious. He has his mother’s long eyelashes, which is envied by a handful of people, especially women. Kiri’s eyes are the main attraction for his face.

As a seventeen year old bodyguard, not many believe highly in Kiri’s skill; they think of him as a child, dreaming as a bodyguard of someone from a higher status. Kiri is mocked upon due to this, but the young boy merely dismisses it, paying no heed whatsoever to the thoughts of others. Those who believe Kiri’s exceptional skill know him as a child prodigy in fighting.

Kazama Kiri is generally a calm and composed person, quiet and observant. He keeps his emotions in check to those around him. He is someone who is not easily swayed by others’ propositions or beliefs; rather than sympathizing right at the start, Kiri would find out the truth and what the events were that followed to the present situation. To some, he is like a detective: intelligent, careful, and thoughtful in his work. Kiri’s quietude and observant skills can easily help him detect things out of the ordinary and when he is in a sparring match. With his collected demeanor, many people have given Kiri positive and negative comments. In the positive category, he is calmer and more hardworking than others. His persona is one that parents can take pride in and be acknowledged. In the negative category, Kiri is looked down upon as a goody-two-shoes for everything he does and the way he completes them. It is apparent that it is the young men who talks about Kiri. However, Kiri takes no note into account for what others say about him; she simply dismisses those thoughts, even those that are praises sometimes get dismissed as well.
As a bodyguard, Kiri understands what his duty requires him to do. While on duty, one can almost never find Kiri lax. Although he’s an bodyguard, he is still young thus, needing breaks every so often. It is at these times when he feels a break needed for a short while is he vulnerable. Despite that though, Kiri has quick reflexes and can quickly respond to his environment. Even on breaks, Kiri is still alert for abnormal signs that could happen. That is how focused the seventeen year old can be. However though, Kiri is still seventeen, so he can be naive.
Respect and honor is highly valued by everyone in the country, and it is also very important to Kiri as well. He is very polite and courteous to his superiors, never failing once to use the correct honorifics to address those in the higher class. In this way, he is seen as an ideal young child with perfect manners, and could have grown to become a nobleman of high status. Much to their disbelief, Kiri chose the path of a warrior to protect his country. Kiri is a patriot and loves his country dearly, and that is the reason why Kiri took his studies and training seriously to become a bodyguard. He is a diligent worker.
Kiri has a very good memory, allowing him to remember what he learns with near precise accuracy; he also has photographic memory, so he can recall objects, sounds, and images almost perfectly. Due to this, he can still recall what happened when he was as young as seven, but no less. That is just how good his memory really is. Kiri is a fast thinker, and will use his knowledge to help him in any way possible--his good memory allows him to bring up old subjects and what he learned long ago to assist him in the present time.
Unfortunately for Kiri, his quiet and mysterious demeanor has people putting him down at times. They do not know how adept Kiri is. Due to that, Kiri’s chances of showing them off are not very high, but somehow, he was still able to become a bodyguard at a young age with just his carefulness, his intelligence, and diligence.✴ ✴ ✴
