Why does Voldermort have blue skin is that meant to be part of his soul splitting or something! cos its wasn't always like that.

I remember when reading the series of book I couldn't help but to ask myself the same question throughout the entire series. On the very beginning of half-blood prince, Snape earnestly shares his fascination and curiosity with Harry the moment he saw he was a parselmouth, perhaps Snape said it slyly, perhaps not.

In the last book Harry also have a momentary lapse when faced with the possibility of having the Deathly Hallows - it consumed his thoughts. Had it not been for Hermione he would surely be overcome with greediness, which didn't really go well with his self righteous character.

Would've been cool if he had taken the Deathly Hallows and the vicious Death Eaters swore allegiance to him - out of sheer fear. Which would make them be 'converted into good'.
