i like being social but i hate math.
my math class is cool but i HATE my science teacher so...

If he went dark, then the other wizards would kill him. At least that's what I think they should do. :D

I think that he would probably be the most powerful wizard in existence (as he managed to overthrow Voldemort by outwitting him)but I dont believe that he could be truly bad at heart, after what Voldemort did to his parents.
Aw man, just thinking of an evil HP gives me the shivers! *shudder* I hate to think of that...and no way could he be evil! I mean, look at all of the Holocaust survivors...are they evil because of the horrors committed against them? No. And it's the same with HP =)

Harry turning evil is just not possible as his parents were murdered by Voldemort and the whole 'neither can live while the other survives' prophecy. But for arguments sake let's say Harry just joined a different evil magic cult then it is debatable about Harry being as you all say 'the most powerful wizard'. It depends on how he trained and the choices he makes. Even if he say goes to Hogwarts and is really clever, do you really think he would be able to stand against a wizard like Albus Dumbledore or Hermione Granger?
Harry could never be evil, it's just not in him. He is just too goody-goody. Not that that's bad or anything.
I wouldn't say Harry's a 'goody-goody', I mean how many time s has he broken school rules, used unforgivable curses, faced Voldemort countless times etc. I think he's anything but.

lol, i honestly doubt he's capable of killing his friends and girlfriend (aka. Ginny), he'd do that if he was evil.
But say if he just was evil, I don't think Ron and Hermione would be friends with him anyway and the Weasley family would definitely not let Ginny get married to Harry. If Harry was evil it would be a completely different thing.

Considering I"m not even sure he knows a lot of dark spells... I think he'd have a hard time... I mean of all spells he could of used on Voldemort he used.. a disarming charm...But if he did go all crazy psycho I'd would have been on on the ride...I can see it now... "The dark twin... Harry never knew!"

If Harry Potter turned evil, many of you say that he would be the greatest dark wizard ever. I don't think so. He seems to get all of his 'accomplishments' achieved through his friends. So he knows a few tricky spells. His friends are the real heroes. But don't get me wrong, I love Harry Potter.

Hina- I certainly agree. That's actually the reason some of my teachers hate the book. He's getting all the credit, but really Hermione is actually doing all the work. Basically, anyway.

But he didn't!! That's why the story is so great! Voldemort tried to tempt him a few time along the way, but it wasn't in his nature to be evil.

I agree with Hina. This is obviously something we enjoy doing in our free time. There are much worse things we could be doing. If you aren't interested, then you should do something else.

i dont think it's possible 4 harry to b evil. it would b terrible, yet it would also b a FANTASTIC twist 2 the series, so long as it's resolved in the end
hmm I think that Harry is certainly powerful enough to become a an evil wizard, especially because in the second book people actually believed that, but I really don't believe that is his character. It's like what Sirius Black once said:"We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are."
