Will there be a movie for each one of the books?

I read that the rights were sold for the entire series,also that the titans curse has a release date for 2015.

Yeah, I saw that too. I hope the movie lives up to the book cause The Lightning Thief was a bit disappointing but still good.

Because of that, they'll have to get a totally new cast that is younger by the time they start shooting for The Titan's Curse.

Thats gonna be awful! I cant stand when they have to make new casts. It ruins the flow of things.......

They do not have to also,when an actors contracts runs out and there are still more movies to evade they just simply sign another contract for the remaining movies

Probably not. The first movie was awful, and, while there *might* be a second one, it's highly unlikely that they will finish the series.

I hated the movie Lightning Thief. Not only was it not accurate at all with the book, the movie in general just sucked.

Yeah, I too liked it a lot. I can't wait for Sea of Monsters, it looks like there will be more stuff going on in this one than the first just from the look of the trailer :)

I hated the lightning their movie. They just took the plot, changed it, figured out that Annabeth had grey eyes, Percy could breath underwater, and Grover was a satyre. And maybe got a few more details.

I know they changed the movie from the book, and they definately cast the characters way too old for a series...no thinking towards the future there at all,
but honestly I saw the movie and it made me want to pick up the books...so I didn't think the movied was all that bad on it's own, I know the Sea of Monsters is being filmed now and it's about time!
