Heric looked at Ellyse "I'll take guard first and then Marian can take the next shift, after that, Rin takes Marian's place. You take last shift. Sounds good?"
Rin slept, preparing for his shift. He does have time to do anything what he wants after that, he then sleeps soundly.

"Sounds good to me," Marian replied, rolling out his sleeping bag, purposefully near Ellyse's.
"Let's worry about ourselves right now," Byron gently says."Now we should rest. It's getting late." Kylie nods. They roll out their sleeping bags and go to sleep. Late that night, Byron wakes to find Kylie in his sleeping bag, curled up against him, her arms wrapped around his neck. Smiling, Byron kisses her head. A mumbled sound escapes from Kylie's mouth.
"What was that?" Byron asks.
"I love you," Kylie repeats.
Byron is shocked, but quickly recovers, and says, "I love you too." He wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her closer to him. For now at least, he felt safe, and was happy. He knew it would be short-lived, so he made the most of what he had: warmth and Kylie right there with him

"That's fine with me," Marian quickly replied, hoping to garner some approval Ellyse, like a lovesick puppy.
Heric sat near his alliance, still guarding around them with his eyes wide-open for any signs of danger that will bring them, he was like a guard dog to begin with. It doesn't bother him that he had to take first shift.
After hours of trying to stay awake, he gave up and gently shook Marian awake, hoping that he doesn't bother him much. "Don't forget to wake up Rin when you're tired, Marian. Don't tire yourself too much. M'kay?"
Since when did he care this much?
Rin was still sleeping soundly but he was a light-sleeper, so any suspicious sound he heard, he would open his eyes and look alert even though he was exhausted and tired.

Rin heard a bit of rustling from the trees and woke up by the sound he heard, he sat up and saw Heric and Marian sleeping but where was Ellyse? He around the platform and found Ellyse, 'Something's disturbing her, I think.' Rin thought to himself.
He was tired but he fought the sleepiness and stood next to Ellyse,
"So, I thought it was my shift? You do know that, right?" He let out a sad smile on his face and played with his thumbs until he waited for Ellyse to respond to his question "Something's disturbing you, what is it?" He finally asked, his voice a bit raspy.

its the middle of the night and gases come through. There's no way to aviod them. The gases make your tribute go crazy and forget who is who. Your tribute knows name but not names to faces. For example say ur tribute is in an alliance with a girl names ashley and a girl names angela ur tribute will switch the names up. So angela with be ashley and ashley angela. Also ur tribute doesnt remember whats happening have fun with this they will get their memory back soon.
((Wait, do we remember ourselves, Amy? Or is it just the alliance we forget but we remember our names?))

Heric coughed silently, trying to piece together what was going on. In all of a sudden, he doesn't remember anyone of his alliance. He looked up and saw a girl and two boys. He was confused but he didn't say a word since It would only bring more and more confusion into his mind "...I don't wanna play this game anymore....stop...stop it!." he shouted, he was losing control of himself but he can still contain the urge to kill. "Is that...you, Jacy?..." He heard voices in his head - 'No, idiot. Jacy's dead.' his mind spoke. 'Rin, Marian, Ellyse. But who are they?' He can't even remember their faces.

He stood up, but losing his balance, he fell again "What the--" He tried to piece everything together but it was no use, the gas affected him too much for him to handle what was going on. "Is that Marian.....or is that Ellyse....no it can't be...can it? Impossible." He told himself a few times, looking over at a boy with dirty blonde hair - losing his mind, he can't even tell on which who is who to begin with. 'What kind of ridiculousness the GameMakers made us do now?' Rin said in his own little mind.

Scarlet stumbled back a little, everything becoming fuzzy. What was happening, where were her allies, and what were their names again?

"What's wrong with me?" He asked, sobbing. He looked at Ellyse. "Do you- you- love me?" He asked. "Oh, who am I kidding?" He yelled. "No one loves me! I should just die!" He attempted to wrench out of Ellyse's grip and jump off the edge of the arena.
Rin and Heric were still confused of what was going on, a loud strange knocking in Heric's head was happening "Ahh....pain..." He holds his head, covering his ears.
Rin looked over at everyone, whenever he steps, he feels like the world was spinning. A confused look can be seen on his face, he still doesn't know who is who.

the gas clears and all the tributes get their memories back. But just wait more problems will come. its midnight and theres no source of light all your tributes are in the dark...
Lauren remebered and she shook her head. "Wait I know you!" She looked around but only saw darkness.
Scarlet sighs as her memories come back, after she felt a bit better she hurried through the course to find an empty treehouse. She climbs into one, settling down on the floor. She wondered where her allies were.
"Me too" em said "where are you?" She asked squinting in the dark.
"There you are, where's Lauren?" She said.
"Alec we have to stay together" she said grabbing Alec's arm and walking towards Lauren.
Lauren walks blindly towards the voices and she latchs onto Alec's hand.
"Sounds good with me. I dont think anyone is going to attack in this darkness." Lauren says.
