Thanks Sassafrass! I would think that audible will pick it up sometime soon - I hope anyway!

Sassafrass wrote: "MK, I just went looking on google. It looks like the series switched publishers between book 5 and book 6. Dreamspinners did books 1-5 and Riptide is doing the later books. On Dreamspinners website it shows that book 5 came out on audio 5/1/13. They have it on their site, so maybe audible will pick it up soon..."Well, shoot! I wish I'd thought to check Dreamspinners before I read Armed & Dangerous LAST WEEK!!!! :( Not that reading it was bad, but I've been scrounging for audiobooks for this month because I've been working out in the yard so much, so it would have been really nice to have that one.
I've read in other GR groups that Riptide will convert the C&R books into audio. But I think it maybe 6 months off. I'll see if I can find the conversation again :)
Yup - in the group 'Ty & Zane Are Like Crack' a member emailed Riptide and they advised release for books 6&7 at the end of the year :)They were also predicting release at Audible a month about a month later...
I've been watching closely as well! But I love reading the ebooks as well, so the audio is cream for me ;)
Sassafrass wrote: "LOL, I don't think I'll be able to wait, but I'll probably get them on audio when they do come out."Yeah, I'm guessing that's what will happen to me, too.
Ty wrote: "Hey Yz the Whyz!It was great looking through your lists. Hopefully, you can find something to fit into your reading this month. Please let me know if you need any repicks. Enjoy!
1. Jill Shalvi..."
I just realized I haven't responded to this.
Love the recs, Ty.
I'm definitely reading
and hoping to squeeze in
before the month is over.Again, thanks for the wonderful recs.

oh yay! I thought the picks must've stunk. haha! Gunmetal Magic is so much fun!
finished my 2nd PIFM a couple days ago:
. loved it! waited so long to get to Hawk and Sienna that I think the anticipation made up for the stars rather than the story. lol. But I liked the further developments of the Psy-Changeling wars. Now, I can look forward to
Valerie ~Varuca~Update time again! I've finished
and
which were both great and now, I've gone on to finish:
--this was a sweet, make you feel good type of contemporary romance. After reading the the two M/M books I just finished it was weird reading girl cooties. LOL Anyway, this is such a guilty pleasure type of series for me. I don't expect it to blow me away, but I love every minute of reading it.I think I'll try to get to
and/or
next.
Hi Jane - I finished two more picks yesterday bringing it up to four so far! I read The Charm School since it worked for the FAC, it was good but really slow to grab me. And I listened to Fish & Chips. I really enjoyed it, it was a lot of fun! I love Ty and Zane, but I really wish they would sit down and have a real conversation!! There are several more I want to get to this month, but I need to get to some other challenges first.
So I finished
and because I have a problem (a reading problem) I went on and read
and
AND
so much for the Kindle intervention eh?I wasn't sure how I would enjoy them because I have pretty much converted to only reading M/M romance the past couple of years but I have always enjoyed Jill Shalvis' books. I liked the first 3 in the series better than the next three. I think I just liked the sisters' books better because I liked the men better. Also, the connection and the back story with Maddie, Tara & Chloe was stronger and more interesting.
hi Gigi - I finished Attachments - I liked but didn't love it - there were a few times where I wanted to be just get on with it...but I thought it was something different - I guess my one main issue was that I really didn't understand the need for it to be set in 1999/2000....there are plenty of workplaces now that have limited email/computer access/and that monitor workers stuff...so its not like that is something that has gone out of style...but IDK
Hi Skandia, I finished
a couple of days ago. I liked it but not as much as I expected to. (view spoiler) Thanks for the push!
Paisley wrote: "So I finished

I've read three more recommendations, Armed & Dangerous and Lover Avenged, both of which I LOVED (Lover Avenged was a reread). I also finished The Charm School which I read for the FAC - I had trouble getting into it at first (possibly life interfering) but ended up really enjoying it.
Thanks again for the great picks, Kat - I'm not done yet! :D

finished A Wild Ride everything i usually expect from Grey. A great comfort read.
Shatan wrote: "Katie - I'm going to start reading Simply Sexual by Kate Pearce tonight."Great! I hope you enjoy it. :)
I finished Believe it or Not by Tawna Fenske. I really liked it. Was so funny, I was snorting out loud a lot. And smiling through the rest. I gave it 5 stars.
Ok I finally read Reluctant Dom
. I was reticent to read this book. I don't care for slave 24/7 books or give a slave to someone else type, but WOW so glad that Vi recommended it tome again . loved it! Can't say enough about it. Great love story!
Hi Elise! I finished
tonight and enjoyed it. A four star read for me, I'll definitely continue with the series. Thanks :)
Amy, I've read
and I didn't really like it.
will be probably be much better and I hope I manage to read it by the end of May :)
Valerie ~Varuca~Update time again! I've finished
,
, and
. Next I went on to:
--I have no idea why I took so long to read this! I won't give spoilers here but I really love this series. I wasn't sure how Adria and Riaz were going to make things work, but I'm glad they did in the end.I think I'll try to get to
and/or
next.
Hey Arena.. I am kind of late posting this, I completely forgot this book was one of my picks as well.. Anyways I read
I absolutely loved this book! Being a gamer myself and having highlights in my hair I could really connect with the heroine and had a great time reading this one in one sitting! :DThanks for the rec!
Valerie ~Varuca~Update time again! I've finished

--This was really short and quick, so I read it in about 1 hour. Very hot and spicy. Thanks for another great pick.I think I'll try to get to
and/or Bound By Honor next.
Gea,That's too bad, I still haven't read it. I just started Rock Chick, so far I am really enjoying it.

I ALWAYS forget to post the end of month comments... One of my picks from Lacy was Kiss of Midnight, which I liked so much that I've already read book two in the series, Kiss of Crimson.
I've finished a few more picks...Country Mouse and Amber Beach, both of which I liked but were nothing special, and Down London Road, which I absolutely loved! Still lots of month left, so hopefully I'll get through at least one or two more - fantastic picks this month, Kat...thanks!!!
Hi ErinI read a couple of books so far, and have another two about to launch ;)
I listened to He Completes Me - it takes a long time to get anywhere, but the journey is really enjoyable. I rated it 4 stars. Thanks!
Just finished Somebody Killed His Editor - a really cute cozy mystery with plenty of friction between the two MCs. Josh Lanyon's writing is such an enjoyable experience - dry humour, fun set up, well executed. This was also 4 stars :)
I'm just about to kick off with Touch & Geaux and then I hope to start Tigerland...

Good to hear Jane! Seems like they get a teeny bit closer to talking in each book, but I just want to scream at them to talk so they can get over there misconceptions!

Yay! Glad you have been enjoying your picks. How was the narrator for He Completes Me? I have't read that one yet myself and I always enjoy a good audiobook. I hope you like Touch & Geaux. I had to read the whole thing in one sitting.
Hi all! We're just a little past the halfway point in the month, so here's a little update...
We have 64 participants this month, and almost half (45%) have read at least one book. We've read a total of 55 books so far (51 unique titles), and here they are:

Ty, I finished Styx's Storm. Thank you! A fun read!!
Hi Ty!I finished one of my recs,
. As always, Ilona Andrews can do no wrong. I really enjoyed reading it. Thanks for the push.
Gigi wrote: "Ty, I finished Styx's Storm. Thank you! A fun read!!yay! good to hear. I really need to TBR that series.... so much to read...
Yz the Whyz wrote: "Hi Ty!I finished one of my recs,

I finished A Discovery of Witches this weekend. When I first started the book, I didn't really care for it. But once I got past the 50% point, I liked the book. So for me it was a bit hard getting into it, but I'm glad I read it. Thanks for the recommendation Nicole!
Sue, I'm glad you ended up liking it. It is a slow start, but it's still one of my favorites.Joyce, I finished two more books, for a total of 3 so far.
has been on my tbr forever! I had a hard time getting into this, I don't know why. The writing is good, the story is good, everything was good but I just couldn't focus. I ended up getting the audiobook and that made the difference for me! 4 Stars!
, I really enjoyed this. In fact, it's on my favorites shelf now. It was a solid 5 stars for the first part of the book, but toward the end it kind of lost steam for me. It was probably more to do with my mood than the actual story. I had a lot going on toward the end of the book and kept getting interrupted. Just let me read already!! 4 stars!I have
, but I'm not sure I will get to it before the end of the month. Thank you for the great picks!
JoJoI finished Devil's Bride last night. I enjoyed it--was happy to get a book off the TBR/owned but not read large pile holding up my side of the bed. I forgot how much I liked Lauren's historical romances. The understory involved a killing and I figured that out very early on but a solid three stars and I've added the next two books to my TBR. Going to try and read at least one more of your suggestions before the end of the month if I can.

The narrator is Paul Morey. I think he is one of the better MM narrators, so definitely give it a go :)
