MountainKat | 31599 comments Thanks Sassafrass! I would think that audible will pick it up sometime soon - I hope anyway!

Well, shoot! I wish I'd thought to check Dreamspinners before I read Armed & Dangerous LAST WEEK!!!! :( Not that reading it was bad, but I've been scrounging for audiobooks for this month because I've been working out in the yard so much, so it would have been really nice to have that one.

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments I've read in other GR groups that Riptide will convert the C&R books into audio. But I think it maybe 6 months off. I'll see if I can find the conversation again :)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Yup - in the group 'Ty & Zane Are Like Crack' a member emailed Riptide and they advised release for books 6&7 at the end of the year :)

They were also predicting release at Audible a month about a month later...

message 357: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments I've been watching closely as well!

But I love reading the ebooks as well, so the audio is cream for me ;)

Sassafrass (sass-a-frass) | 4192 comments LOL, I don't think I'll be able to wait, but I'll probably get them on audio when they do come out.

I just realized I haven't responded to this.

Love the recs, Ty.

I'm definitely reading Gunmetal Magic (Kate Daniels World #1) by Ilona Andrews and hoping to squeeze in Master of the Abyss (Mountain Masters, #2) by Cherise Sinclair before the month is over.

Again, thanks for the wonderful recs.

message 363: by Ty (new)

Ty | 1943 comments finished my 2nd PIFM a couple days ago: Kiss of Snow (Psy-Changeling, #10) by Nalini Singh . loved it! waited so long to get to Hawk and Sienna that I think the anticipation made up for the stars rather than the story. lol. But I liked the further developments of the Psy-Changeling wars. Now, I can look forward to Krychek's book.

Update time again! I've finished Divide & Conquer (Cut & Run, #4) by Abigail Roux and Second Time Lucky by Ethan Day which were both great and now, I've gone on to finish:

Head Over Heels (Lucky Harbor, #3) by Jill Shalvis --this was a sweet, make you feel good type of contemporary romance. After reading the the two M/M books I just finished it was weird reading girl cooties. LOL Anyway, this is such a guilty pleasure type of series for me. I don't expect it to blow me away, but I love every minute of reading it.

I think I'll try to get to Morning Report by Sue Brown and/or Tangle of Need (Psy-Changeling, #11) by Nalini Singh next.

message 366: by MountainKat, Moderator (new)

MountainKat | 31599 comments Hi Jane - I finished two more picks yesterday bringing it up to four so far! I read The Charm School since it worked for the FAC, it was good but really slow to grab me. And I listened to Fish & Chips. I really enjoyed it, it was a lot of fun! I love Ty and Zane, but I really wish they would sit down and have a real conversation!! There are several more I want to get to this month, but I need to get to some other challenges first.

message 367: by Paisley (new)

Paisley (paisleyh) | 35 comments So I finished Head Over Heels (Lucky Harbor, #3) by Jill Shalvis and because I have a problem (a reading problem) I went on and read Lucky in Love (Lucky Harbor, #4) by Jill Shalvis and At Last (Lucky Harbor, #5) by Jill Shalvis AND Forever and a Day (Lucky Harbor, #6) by Jill Shalvis so much for the Kindle intervention eh?

I wasn't sure how I would enjoy them because I have pretty much converted to only reading M/M romance the past couple of years but I have always enjoyed Jill Shalvis' books. I liked the first 3 in the series better than the next three. I think I just liked the sisters' books better because I liked the men better. Also, the connection and the back story with Maddie, Tara & Chloe was stronger and more interesting.

I finished my first pick Night Pleasures (Dark-Hunter, #2) by Sherrilyn Kenyon . I really enjoyed it, 4 stars! Thank you for the push :)

message 369: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments hi Gigi - I finished Attachments - I liked but didn't love it - there were a few times where I wanted to be just get on with it...but I thought it was something different - I guess my one main issue was that I really didn't understand the need for it to be set in 1999/2000....there are plenty of workplaces now that have limited email/computer access/and that monitor workers stuff...so its not like that is something that has gone out of style...but IDK

I'm glad you liked Head Over Heels enough to continue the series! I think I agree, I liked the first three better than the next ones, but I've enjoyed all of them and I'm more than ready for the next one to be released the end of this month.

I've read three more recommendations, Armed & Dangerous and Lover Avenged, both of which I LOVED (Lover Avenged was a reread). I also finished The Charm School which I read for the FAC - I had trouble getting into it at first (possibly life interfering) but ended up really enjoying it.

Thanks again for the great picks, Kat - I'm not done yet! :D

Jennie (liebermann) Ok I finally read Reluctant Dom The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton . I was reticent to read this book. Tangle of Need (Psy-Changeling, #11) by Nalini Singh --I have no idea why I took so long to read this! I won't give spoilers here but I really love this series. I wasn't sure how Adria and Riaz were going to make things work, but I'm glad they did in the end.

I think I'll try to get to Morning Report by Sue Brown and/or Happy Hour (Black and White Collection, #4) by Mari Carr next.

I am kind of late posting this, I completely forgot this book was one of my picks as well.. Anyways I read The Geek Girl and the Scandalous Earl (Geek Girls, #1) by Gina Lamm I absolutely loved this book! Being a gamer myself and having highlights in my hair I could really connect with the heroine and had a great time reading this one in one sitting! :D
Thanks for the rec!

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Hi Erin

I read a couple of books so far, and have another two about to launch ;)

I listened to He Completes Me - it takes a long time to get anywhere, but the journey is really enjoyable. I rated it 4 stars. Thanks!

Just finished Somebody Killed His Editor - a really cute cozy mystery with plenty of friction between the two MCs. Josh Lanyon's writing is such an enjoyable experience - dry humour, fun set up, well executed. This was also 4 stars :)

I'm just about to kick off with Touch & Geaux and then I hope to start Tigerland...

Sue (knitwitsl) | 226 comments I finished A Discovery of Witches this weekend. When I first started the book, I didn't really care for it. But once I got past the 50% point, I liked the book. Nichole | 1010 comments Sue, I'm glad you ended up liking it. It is a slow start, but it's still one of my favorites.

Joyce, I finished two more books, for a total of 3 so far.
Storm Front (The Dresden Files, #1) by Jim Butcher has been on my tbr forever! I had a hard time getting into this, I don't know why. The writing is good, the story is good, everything was good but I just couldn't focus. I ended up getting the audiobook and that made the difference for me! 4 Stars!

Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1) by Gail Carriger , I really enjoyed this. In fact, it's on my favorites shelf now. It was a solid 5 stars for the first part of the book, but toward the end it kind of lost steam for me. It was probably more to do with my mood than the actual story. I had a lot going on toward the end of the book and kept getting interrupted. Just let me read already!! 4 stars!
I have A Knight in Shining Armor (Montgomery, #16) by Jude Deveraux , but I'm not sure I will get to it before the end of the month. Thank you for the great picks!

I finished Devil's Bride last night. I enjoyed it--was happy to get a book off the TBR/owned but not read large pile holding up my side of the bed. I forgot how much I liked Lauren's historical romances. The understory involved a killing and I figured that out very early on but a solid three stars and I've added the next two books to my TBR. Going to try and read at least one more of your suggestions before the end of the month if I can.
