Amelia felt guilt sting her heart and she sat down next to her sister, wiping away her hot, runny tears from her pale skin. "We have to get out of here." She whispered.

Rose stood up. Her face was cold. "Come on." She said.
Amelia nodded. Her eyes were dry, but blood shot. She bit her nails until they bled.
Rose shakily left the room, needing to get away from her parents bodies. She sat down on the steps.
Amelia followed her out the door.
Rose still had tears streaming down her cheeks, but she looked up at Amelia. "I want to leave." She said.
"We have to leave." She whispered.
"I think we should leave it." Amelia suggested. "It will make it look like we've not left. Let's get some things."
Rose nodded and stood up. "One thing first." She said. She went back inside.
Rose pulled her mothers ring off of her hand, and did the same with her fathers. She went back outside.
Amelia turned and arched her eyebrows in a pained expression. "Let's go?"
Amelia tried to smile but failed dismally. She got to her feet.
Rose took Amelia's hand, and started down the side walk.
After they had turned the block, Rose spoke up. "Where are we going?" She asked.

"I don't know." Amelia answered solemnly. "The forest? The city? We're in danger, Rose. We just have to get away." She couldn't shake the image of her mother's glassy, soulless eyes from her mind.

((Its okay))Rose nodded sadly. "There's people in the city. So the woods maybe?" She said quietly.
Amelia nodded, not too keen on speaking.
Ross looked back towards their home. "I'm scared." She said taking Amelia's hand.
