Well, we should work out the general plotline first. What are they running from? Why? Fantasy or non fantasy?

Okay. :) Here's my idea, but we may do yours.
Amelia and Rose's mother and father were angels, or some odd creature of the sort. They were very powerful wielders of magic and were murdered by an elite group of assisins who drive to eliminate all magic from the world. Amelia and Rose are not angels, but powerful sorcerers, who quickly have to flee across the country from the Elite Elimination of Magic-or EEOM for short.

Nah, she'll be still learning, but they have great potential. Maybe like...Aang in the early series, if you know what I mean. Like, he's pretty powerful, but when he gets angry he's insane. They could be like that.
I think we should roleplay when they find their parents dead.

Sure! Let's say that they're getting back from the bookstore. :)
Amelia, her arm hooked in Rose's, made her way home beside her sister, her bag of books slung over her shoulder.

Amelia grinned a Chesire grin at her twin sister and pulled her into her home. It was oddly quiet, and empty. "Mom! Dad! We're home!" She called with a jubilant grin.
"They probably fell asleep," Amelia suggested with a wary smile. Something wasn't right here, though. Her mother was always in the kitchen, preparing cookies and laughing. She always had food network on in a steady buz, in fact, Amelia could hardly remember a time when in the house the food network wasn't playing.
"I'll check the kitchen." Amelia whispered immediately, veering away, her heart pounding.

Amelia stared at the kitchen. She fell to her knees, and buried her face in her hands. Her mother was sprawled across the counter, her father lying on the couch in a twisted position. Blood had been flicked across the cabinets.

Amelia was too in shock to do anything but sit there and stare at her mother, her eyes trailing to a small note hung on the cupboard. She pointed weakly

Amelia took it slowly, her eyes skimmed the page quickly. "Th-That doesn't make any sense." She stuttered. "M-Mom and Dad weren't...angels...?"

Amelia reread the letter. "It has to be fake. It's all fake." She whimpered, burying her face in her mother's neck.
Amelia bit her lip so hard that blood rushed into her mouth with the tangy metallic taste of pain and tears. "Shut up!" She screamed. "It's all fake."
