Behind Enemy Linesteam moonstone
Since red is my favorite color, I checked out Suzanne's shelves from Radically Red and found a book with a pretty red cover.

What fun to read!
HEy, you think we'd leave any baked goods lying around for interlopers? Hmph, I think not!

Very cute and creative, Sonia! I love that Tea played along after yours.

Duly noted on all counts. *salute*
Team Lára, that plays just for fun and not for points will read:
Freestyle theme, page goal: 2000
Alternate books:
Lara IS, I see two Sookie Stackhouse books! I'm reading those this year too. Read the first two already, but taking a break while I do the read-a-thon. :)
Steven wrote: "Lara IS, I see two Sookie Stackhouse books! I'm reading those this year too. Read the first two already, but taking a break while I do the read-a-thon. :)"I love the Sookie Stackhouse books. It was my first urban-fantasy series (not counting with Harry Potter, of course)
The last one is due to come out May 7th, just in time for the RaT and books in uniforms theme :o)
My favorite Charlaine Harris series so far is the Harper Connelly one - Harper is a girl that after being hit by a lightning at age 16 she develop the ability to sense the deceased and revive the last moments before their death.
First 2 books are good, last 2 are amazing!!!!
:o)
I forgot to add that audio format is the best way of reading Charlaine Harris series.I've tried Sookie Stackhouse, Harper Connelly and Aurora Teagarden (a cozy mystery series) and they have amazing narrators.
I have the Harper Connellys too I think. I'm not sure. I have the Aurora Teagarden ones but am not sure when I'll get to those as they don't strike my fancy enough to push up past my already long to-read list. :)
Aurora's books are good, but pale in comparison with the other series. Harper's are an entirely different business. Read them. NOW.
*giggles*
If I have them, I'll start them once Sookie's finished. Of course, I'm starting like 50 series right now haha.
I have a read-the-next-in-series shelf with 56 books and a new-series shelf with 96I don't think I read stand alones anymore :o)
Haha, I'm right there with you. I finally went through this past week and added two shelves: "First book in a series to read" and "next up in a series" :)
ME TOO!!!!I want to get invested in the characters. Movies and standalones just don't give me enough of them :D
Don't get me started on TV... I watch WAY TOO MUCH.

Team: Leather Jacket Black
Team member: Pigletto
Book:
Reason: Both rated it 4 stars and it is hard to find anyone who doesn't give these books 5 stars.
Steven, Barb, and Lisa Kay - I know I'm late to the party but I had to pipe up and echo Steven's love for James Rollins' Sigma Force series. I recommend them to everyone who will listen and I just adored the superdog Kane in the most recent one. Love love love that series!

My series-next shelf is down to 77 books, and my series-first shelf has over 200 unread books. I'm with you, Sonia, I'm addicted to series!
I'm right there with Barb and Sonia.I'm a series-whore apparently! AND I'm a rereader... which means I read entire series over and over hahaha

I'm sooo like this. Ask my sister how many times I re-read the first 4 Harry Potter books - she even got mad at me because of that.
I agree. Remus (& Sirius) don't get enough time/pages in later books. And they especially don't deserve what happened to them.
ikr Tea? but then again i mean.. it's supposed to be an epic tale..but not exactly a fairy tale. The way the HP world is built is to make us believe this is all real, and this is all possible. So sadly, a few loved characters do not get to have a happy ever after ending.you take that back steven! you take that back right now! he's all mine! *pif* him and mr riddick!
Perhaps they don't receive a happy ending, but they willingly sacrificed for a cause that won out... so they're happy somewhere :)You can have him. I'm sure Tonks will share? X)
*pif*i actually didn't rly like tonks.. not the book one and certainly not the movie one.. thought she was kinda.. meh
wait.. you have a wand? =O T_T
