I heart goats. Sure, they get a bad rap, with all the eating they do, and their square eyes, and their association with Satan, but they're sweet! I'll admit, except for Napolien Dynomite references, I'm ignorant about llamas. The only one I've ever really been in contact with ate my button.

Well, I'm not a new member, but I guess I should introduce myself. I hate this kind of thing because I never know what to say. But here I go . .

I just started a freelance book editing service, and I work part-time in a public library. So a good part of my life is centered around books. I am married and have 8 (yes, 8) cats.

Other than that, I'm pretty boring.

Oh, when I have time, I knit and crochet.

I have been crocheting since I've been about 10. I just taught myself to knit two years ago. I wish I had more time to do it. Life can be hectic and knitting and crochet can be very relaxing.

I'm a teacher who just found Goodreads this summer and have gone into reading overdrive with all the great recommendations from friends and fellow group members. I aspire to write a book before I leave this earth, and I actually have some ideas in development right now. I prefer postapocalyptic but am into horrors and classics as well. Thanks again to the Light brothers. I look forward to exploring this group and their writings as well.

Keep us posted on your progress. Adam and I started out working on a novel initially, but ultimately decided to start out with short fiction. Have you thought about self publishing?

Um, I like to read. Probably obvious by name above ^^^. I married a Marine, we have a combined family of 6 kids, 3 dogs and 3 cats, I was born in Ohio and now live in NC. I'm pretty much a hermit who lives on the internet. It's not very comfortable with all the info zipping to and fro, but I love it.
