The main character in this book is a middle school or high school age boy. He and his mother and sister have to go into witness protection because of something his father (a pilot) saw or knows. I remember he gets into a fight during his first day at his new school, he journals a lot, and the kid he gets in a fight with finds his journal at one point in the story and finds out about everything. He has to wear blue colored contacts to change his eye color and he mentions that in his journal and that is how the kid who finds the journal finds out that what is written in the journal is true. At the end his family is relocated again, but his father gets to go with them this time. He writes a letter to the girl he has become friends with telling her he can't tell her where he is going and such.

That is all I can remember at the moment, sound familiar to anyone?
