How many times have you come across an awesome song that none of your friends ever heard about? Do you know a song that doesn't get the attention it deserves? A singer whose talent goes unrecognized? Then, you have come to the right place.

All you have to do is list the song along with a link. Any song, even techno...pun intended..You can even post a link to songs you have sung. And who knows maybe we will find the next hot singer...

Rules:

1. Keep it below 18. If the video contains explicit secnes post a audio-only link.

2. No popular songs. Don't post songs like Justin Bieber's Baby or Gangnam Style. I'm not saying these songs are not good but everyone has already listened to them so there is no point in doing it.

3. I know. Don't think or judge, just listen. Believe me, I know. But I would still appreciate if you posted songs that are well..ear pleasing.

When I first read this post I completely missed how this was related to the book, then it dawned on me that it was how Owen approached music (which plays such a key role in this story)

For me music has always been as much about alchemy as about any art or science. One mixes lyrics and tunes and often gets something even more precious than gold.

But as with many early alchemy experiments, you sometimes fail and get noxious, often poisonous results.

I've always been more partial to songs that rely heavily on lyrics that somehow compliment their tunes to evoke a mood. A few random examples...

This guy is well known as an actor, but he's actually got some great old-style Indie songs out there.

This song in particular means a lot to me, I listened to it a lot recovering from a blood problem and it's pretty much how I feel about connecting back to who I was before this thing. Even if you're not a fan of his, I hope you can agree this song should be bigger than it is.

Okay, so it has been a lot of time someone posted something, anyway..

Give Me Love, Kiss You, Drunk, Small Bump, UNI, This, You Need Me I Don't Need You by Ed Sheeran. Actually, these are just some of my favourites by anything by Ed is pretty great.

Carry on My Wayward Son by Kansas, this song is kind of popular, in a cult way. It became popular due to the TV show Supernatural, but I still think there are a lot of people who didn't listen to it. Oh, and there's a lullaby version of it, if you're into slow music.

I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz. Beautiful and uplifting.
