Bought comic and is only showing up as sample! Help!

Hello, I just bought a comic on my NOOK Tablet. When it downloaded it was only a sample. I have already archived and unarchived it in both the nook and online about a hundred times. The other thing is my nook wont shut off not because it's frozen it just never has shut off no matter what I do. So therefore it makes it more difficult to try to fix my comic issue because I don't have a lot of options to try and fix the matter. Please help me, and if you have any advice on why it won't shut off either let me know. All I know is it has never shut off really ever since I bought it about a year ago. I just never have a use to shut it off so I didn't worry about it. thanks.

I know this sounds silly but how have you tried to shut it off? The normal way is to hold the power button until the screen gives you a menu that includes "power off" (I think.) You can also simply hold the power button in, ignore the power off prompt, and the Nook will power off on it's on. This is the method I found as better. Then you can just use the power button to power back on.
