Is The Kill Order as good as the rest of the series?

I read all three books in the Maze Runner series and I want to read The Kill Order because I heard that it was actually a prequel to the series. Anyone's thoughts on how it was? NO SPOILERS!:)

It sucks BIG TIME!!!
I've only just finished it and I was so disappointed with it.
It doesn't really have the shock factor that the rest of the books have. And definitely not nearly as interesting!
Kinda feel this book was pointless to the rest of the story. But you should give it a go - as this is only my opinion.

This book was good.
But it wasn't GREAT and certainly wasn't as good as the series, no shucking way.
But I still recommend you read it.

Definitely not what the previous three books were. I don't regret reading it but wish it tied up the loose ends more completely.
