Chrystal Okay this is just asking your opinion on rather Selena, Luke, and Ethan are traitors or hero's in the end. You are basicaly being a judge of the Underworld so tell us why you think they're a hero or traitors.

Selena: Hero, she liked Luke at first and her mom being goddess of love, she couldn't help it, she also saved everyone else from the drakon and in the end Luke made her do it.

Luke: Hero: He was under Kronos's spell and in the end sacrificed himself to get rid of Kronos.

Ethan: Traitor: He never really did anything to help Percy in the war, he wasn't even a real camper. Even after he was spared he still killed hero's and stabbed Annabeth with a poisonis blade.

Leesa Newbon Hero:I believe that Selena redeemed herself and that it shown when Percy mentions how no one calls her a traitor.
Heart-breakingly Tragic: In the end I felt bad for Luke but I could never call him a hero.
Tragic: I feel like the whole point of Ethan was to show how much of an affect a half-bloods God parent can have on them. Also even though he has a chance to kill Percy he doesn't.

Ariel I think they are all heroes. In the end they realized they were wrong and tried to fix that. They all gave their lives up to try and right the wrongs they had committed. I believe in second chances! :)

Alexis Savage Selena: Hero. As was said before, she had a thing for Luke and that brings you a far way when you're a daughter of Aphrodite I guess. She did the right thing and died a hero for sure.

Luke: Gaaaah. So tough to call. Well...he ENDED a hero. That's what counts. He just went down such a long, hard road, not always with hero status...but hey, anyone who can be sucked so deep down in the power of Kronos and then fight it is a hero in my book any day. He's a character we love to hate, then love. Then hate. Then feel bad for. He's the character we always hold out hope for, and he did end a hero.

Ethan: Percy offered him a chance to come to the right side, but he didn't see it quite that way, and that is much becuase of the tragedy in his life. Because of his godly parent he was never appreciated, which is what drove him to change his view of who was the right side. He himself wasn't a hero, but because he crossed Percy's path, a heroic act was born: Percy calling the gods out on claiming their children. He wasn't necessarily a hero, but because of him other children were spared his same fate. He served a heroic purpose. However you want to call that.

Claudette Ariel wrote: "I think they are all heroes. In the end they realized they were wrong and tried to fix that. They all gave their lives up to try and right the wrongs they had committed. I believe in second chances..."

I agree.

Silena really died a hero because even though she's a daughter of Aphrodite (and she knows that she can't defeat the Drakon) she tried her best; even though she's the spy, she felt sorry for it and ended up fighting in the war. She blamed herself for what happened to Beckendorf and can't forgive herself that why she got into the war as "Clarisse." I felt bad for her.

Luke fought with Kronos inside him even though it is hard and he also tried to come in San Francisco and visit Annabeth to run away with her because he doesn't want Kronos to use his body. I felt really sad about Luke's death because he was just brainwashed by Kronos and he can't change his fate. :(

Ethan was saved by Percy then he let Kronos raise in return. I hate him so much but still, he died a hero in the end for trying to fight Kronos (even though it was hopeless for him to defeat Kronos) and realizing his mistakes.

Veronica Selena: Hero

Luke: Hero

Ethan: An impulsive traitor that didn't help anyone at all.

Kathryne Kole I honestly think of them all as heroes, they all died to save Olympus, they all died doing their best despite what they'd done in the past.

Selina: Hero: She realized her mistakes almost as soon as the actual war started, put her own life in jeopardy, and died to save the world, how the heck can you not call that heroism?

Luke: Hero: Well...he died a hero anyway... I mean, throughout the entire series, he was the bad guy, the enemy, the one to defeat, the guy to kill, but I understand why he did it, Kronos can get into your brain and mess you up so even the nicest, sweetest person may as well be a psychopath. He was angry at his father, that fueled the fire, but in the end, he realized his huge mistake and killed himself to save Olympus, which, he'd hated for his entire life. So I'm going to go with hero on this one.

Ethan:Hero: He was a traitor and I hated him until I realized his story and why he was so bitter. He also; even though he knew it was hopeless, tried to buy Percy some time by trying to take on Kronos. Not as much of a hero as Selina or Luke, but I'd still say hero.

Elizabeth Day Luke is certainly a hero. He's a lot like Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter. Luke started doing bad things but he wanted out in the end, but he ended up saving Olympus in the end, so he was a hero.
Silena was a hero 'cause she was kind of the same situation, she was a traitor but then she decided it was wrong and she helped the campers win.
Ethan is kind of in between, he is even more like Draco maybe because he never really totally switched to the good side not that I'm saying Luke did, but Luke saved Olympus, so he was a hero. Ethan was on the bad side and at least by the end he didn't want to be there, he was just afraid he was going to die if he tried to help the campers. So Ethan isn't really either, he is just a poor sad kid who's afraid to die.

OK. So...

Silena: What I think happened: Silena was the spy, no doubts until Beckendorf died. Having doubts that she was on the wrong side, she tried to pull away. Kronos, being Kronos didn't let her. I think she was afraid he would hurt someone else at camp half blood. Or make them immortal and then banish them to tartarus. I don't know. Silena realized people were already dying. She wanted to help. So, she dress up as Clarisse and led the Ares cabin. A true hero.

Luke: He was low. He was really mad at Hermes and all the other gods. Everyone gets mad sometimes. He made the deal with Kronos. Later, he realized what was happening. His eyes opened. He tried to run away with Annabeth. Of course, even if she did agree, Kronos would be able to find them. As I was saying, He tried to run away and then fight Krono's. He was a hero. He sacrificed his life to Olympus. It may seem such a small deed, considering how important Olympus is, but imagine. Giving up you're life for all of the people who hate you. Would you do it? YES,LUKE IS A HERO!!!!!!

As for Ethan,: Imagine this: You're mom works for an extremely large company. Say, Apple or something. She works really, really hard. Her work keep's the whole company together. If she wasn't there, everything would fall apart. She never gets a promotion, yet she's done the same work all her life. It seems nobody knows she's there. Finally, a chance comes to avenge her. She asks you to go and fight, to get her promotion. Can you say no to your mom? Ethan couldn't. Technically, his mom was right. She deserved the promotion. Of course, she shouldn't have told her kid to beat her boss up into giving her her right full position, but Ethan just wanted to help his mom. Traitor still. But he did do the heroic act of, in vain, to slow Kronos down.

The End.

Mo I think they all are heroes. While they made bad decisions, and let their emotions color their choices, in the end we all saw things from their viewpoint, and understood WHY they did the things they did. In the end, they all gave their life for the right cause, and were all heroes in the end.
