I am retired Avionic technician that has spent the last 20 years reading and understanding the first (Genesis) and the last ( Revelation) books of the Bible. During the covid shut down, I was ask by my daughter, to teach my grand children about the book of Revelations.

I retired in 2017 and in 2020 during the covid shut down I taught my grand children about the book of Revelation. From this experience I wrote three books. One is called “Understanding the Revelation” with a Bible study by the same name. I have written two books. The first is an autobiography, but told more like a fictional story with me as the primary character. I wrote the book because enough people asked me to write my story. My name is Stephen K. Stanford. My debut SciFi novel Jubilee was released in February and the sequel is coming out next year through Flame Tree / Simon & Schuster. I am currently writing a police procedural / thriller set in the sprawling suburbs of my hometown, Melbourne, Australia.I started writing after picking up two SciFi books at the airport to read on a holiday and was deeply disappointed by both. Some part of me decided I could do better, so I gave it a try! I did no study and no planning. I sat down and it all came out - then of course I had to go back and re-write from the beginning because I only figured out how to write about half way through. I think anyone can write fiction if they truly want to. It's a matter of application and allowing yourself to hear that inner voice.
