Tgclibrarian | 4 comments A very large (60 lecture) audio CD work has been entered into the system as 60 individual titles. This is incorrect, as they all fall under the same ISBN number. The work is The Great Ideas of Philosophy by Daniel N. Robinson. Since each entry has been given a separate title, I'm not sure how to go about merging them.

They were only sold as a set, not individually -- correct?

Correct. It is impossible for them to be purchased individually.

Is there an entry in the GR database for the series as a whole, with its ISBN? If there is, all the others should be merged into it; if not, it should be created, and then they should be merged.

Tgclibrarian | 4 comments There does appear to be one that contains the whole title. I'll start merging them, I just wasn't sure if the separate titles given to each lecture would cause a difficulty with the merge.

Just be sure to leave a Librarian's Note on the final result, explaining what was done and/or linking to this thread.

Janet Martin (janmaus) | 9 comments If they were published as a set, by definition they are not a series
