We plan on reading the next two books next month =)

Great Rachel - glad to hear it. Please let me know what you think of the others...to be honest...the best is yet to come. I designed the series so that each book would be better than the one before so that means the first is the "weakest link" and the last one is the best ;-)

I already said it somewhere else: these books are evil. Usually you want to read just a couple of pages of them right before going to bad. Next thing you know, it is 3 am and you do not want to read a couple of pages more; you need to read more :)

@Evgeny - I do hear that often - and it is a huge compliment so thanks for that.
@Casaey - lol
I agree with all thse people three chapters in and I really do not want to put this down! It's been so amazing! Lets hope it true that it continues to only get better by the page!

It's always great to hear that someone enjoys what I've written. I'm honored by your praise.

Really, really enjoyed it. Dare I say love? Maybe... I can't think of a single aspect at all that irked me.
Although I figured out the big reveals (except Thresh killing the beast) before they happened, I didn't feel at all cheated when they came about in the book, and that says something.
I love all the characters, except of course the ones we are supposed to hate; yeah, I hate those ones. Royce and Hadrian's banter kept me laughing quite a bit. Their friendship is inspiring and I am really looking forward to seeing how it all began in The Crown Tower later this year. Thrace and Arista are great and I look forward to seeing Arista try to help Thrace navigate the Church's plans for her. Esrahaddon, what can I say? He's a wizard. He is intelligent but vague, powerful but limited, and I look forward to seeing where he wandered off to. Again. Haha
Note to author: I always wait a day or two before writing a review, so "Review to Come."

I thought of that last night after finishing it, in that space before sleep overtakes you. You're probably right.
