Well just finished Chapter 4! It was a very interesting first they basically learn that the abbey's been burned down by some soldiers that were not identified. Then they they all agree to actually continue the mission to go to the secret prison holding a the mysterious prisoner. We alson get our first glimpse into the the magic of Theft of Swords and we also get some background info learning about the Different gods and Novron and we learn about some of the creatures and how they were created.
Overall it was a good chapter although i felt there was some info dump in this chapter. There was some interesting developments.

My question is, do we trust Esrahaddon? Now that he is out, what is his agenda?
And BTW, I LOVE Myron. I especially loved when he realized there were brown horses and asked if they came in different colors like blue.

Well just finisher Chapter 5 and 6! Quite a bit happens in these chapters first they find the prison and get in and meet Eshraddon the wizard. Through him we learn much more about magic and they basically need him otherwise they cannot leave the prison.
What did yo make of Eshraddon?
Chapter 6 is where the big revelation is made of who murdered the king. I had a few inklings about uncle percy i just felt there something wrong with him. We still do to why he is doing it it did not sound like he dying to be kin but there some other forces at play, What do you guys a think?

What a crazy filled section!!
I agree Michael, I love some of Royce and Myron's lines.
Esrahaddon: First, I am curious, in your head Michael, how did you hear that name pronounced? I am very intrigued by him, and looking forward to finding out where he wandered off to. I also was pretty curious about the magic inscriptions being described like spider webs; interesting.
Myron, I just love him. I picture him riding along like a wide-eyed child amazed at everything he encounters. That kind of outlook is innocent and refreshing. He's not dumb though, he is so well read that he knows more than probably most of the party, he's just not experienced anything before.
I am kind of stoked that Arista is now trustworthy again, and I hope it stays that way. I was actually a little peeved when we thought she was the culprit.

Each time I have an audio book done a linguist calls to get my take on various pronunciations so he can give that information to the narrator.
Myron is one of my "secret weapons." He is introduced in the first book but doesn't show up again until the last two. When he returns he is a bit different - but in a good way. When my wife heard this she was very upset...she didn't want to see Myron change. But shen she read Wintertide & Percepliquis she retracted all the evil things she was thinking of me as she loved him even more tha ever.

Thanks Michael, I was pronouncing it in my had wrong then. Haha
I look forward to getting to those last books in June then so that I can see more of Myron.
DO NOT post any spoilers from further along in the book, this is just for book 1, chapters 4-6. Discussing events from these chapters and previous ones though is perfectly fine.
