Yes, when the clown was described in book 2, I was so scared. Like a human eye for a nose? What's up with that? So disturbing.

so I just finished the book. I did like it even though some parts were boring

1. So B survived everything and in a world filled with zombies she still managed to find some brains to keep her senses. Go B!
2. I liked this book because it showed how a huge city like London can be completely destroyed. I live in New York about half and hour away from the city and I can't imagine it being completely deserted. It's be kinda freaky to walk around with no one there.
3. I like how the book gave some info about how the rest of the world was doing with the apocalypse. I always though that if something like a zombie apocalypse were to happen, the world would be doomed. I just felt the utter despair of the whole situation when the book mentioned that its takes only ONE zombie and only ONE zombie scratch at that to completely kill off any humans in a safe zone. Its scary to think about because that can happen with any kind of contagious disease. :Shudders:
4. Ok how freaking creepy is Mr.Dowling. He makes the skin crawl off my skin. I hate when they describe him because it freaks me out. I hate regular clowns to begin with but then throwing in a psychotic clown with intestines around him, cuts in his face and body parts on him? Completely freaks me out. Thanks Mr. Shan for those nightmares tonight.
5. That whole situation with the baby at the end was completely disgusting and horrifying. I wanted to kill that stupid clown and his ugly ass minions. And what does it mean that B is marked? Marked by zombie babies? Thats just creepy
6. Who the hell is that at the end of the book? What if its her father? It could also be the guy who let her go in the second book.
7. I absolutely love B's sarcasm in the book even in death situations.
8. And what they hell was that about with Timothy. What a nut job. His paintings are creepy and offensive and I would shoot him if he EVER wanted to put them in a museum after the apocalypse was over.
9. And those Shnax people were complete lunatics. The leader (can't remember her name) was completely schizophrenic.... she really probably was since she heard voices in her head. Those people were completely stupid to follow her and in my eyes deserved what they got. B tried to help and tell them what they were facing and that they probably would die. Tehy didn't listen so oh well. And then the leader asking B to change her so she can continue to sacrifice people to her crazy religion? She was the reason those people died and she didn't even care! In my opinion, B let her off too easily. B should of thrown her to the horde of zombies.
10. While I did like the book I'm kinda angry that this is the third book of the series and we know squat about Mr. Dowling, The Owl Man and the mutants. Is Mr.Dowling a kind of zombie or another kinda creature all together? I mean who can survive having crevices carved out in his face, a human eye stuck somehow on his nose and hair stapled to his head? No wonder he's a loon. Add to the fact that he can't speak normally (he squeaks for goodness sake!)? I want to know more about him. I also want to know who these mutants are and how they get that way. And who is the Owl Man? He seems like a human but he works with Mr.Dowling and the zombies don't attack him. I have a feeling that he is the creator of the zombies. There is so much lack of information that it's driving me crazy!

YES! How are we 3 books in and it took FOREVER in this book for her to bump into Owl guy and creepy ass clown guy (gah, he's so gross!)

And what is going on with these mutants?! Why are thy so much grosser and yet so much more aware than normal zombies!?! Remeber, they have warts and bumps and mutation type stuff going on....
They definitely seem like THEY were the ones spreading the disease to start... (hide spoiler)]

I didn't think about the mutants being the ones to spread the zombie virus but you could be right and it does make sense since they are so vile. But I still think that Owl Man is behind it all and he probably created the mutants. Maybe he created Mr. Dowling as well. I just hope that in the next book more information on these guys are revealed. (hide spoiler)]

I just requested it from the library. I'm the first person on hold, so I should get it prety quickly after it's released...
