So far (view spoiler)[ I think the book is pretty interesting. It is a bit slow, though. I like that it is about the decedents of Alice :) I am not a fan of bugs though! And killing them is just YUCK! (hide spoiler)]

The 1/2 of the book was just a race for me becuse it's where all the adventure and story is.

Yeah...the first 5 chapters were a struggle for me because they were so disjointed and confusing.

but once she got to wonderland! I LOVED IT!

I just finished chapter 7.

I've never read the book, I've only seen the the animated and the live action one with Johnny Depp.

I love how dark and seductive it is, like how the (view spoiler)[ flowers and man-eating zombie flowers!! And instead of the white rabbit, it's his name Rabid White. And how they all talked funny and in riddles!! (hide spoiler)]

I'm really loving this book!! Sorry I'm taking so long, I was gone half the day at a wedding, my neighbor's son was getting married. I've known him since he was 10 years old!! lol :)

OMG it is totally dark and seductive - what a great way to describe it! I love the world. it's so twisted and yet so close to what we know about Alice in Wonderland. Like you said, the rabbit the flowers...ugh, I just love it!

So I've just picked it up again and I'm almost at chapter 8. It's gotten interesting :D

Just a question.. how did Jeb get there with her?

Angela, he was at Alyssa's house (view spoiler)[ cause Taelor left her purse at Butterfly Threads, she thought she lost it and Jeb was asking her if she found it. Alyssa sees the moth and freaks out. They had words about about Alyssa going to see Hitch, Taelor arrives in the limo to take him to the prom.

Alyssa goes to her bedroom, the mirror is broken, she figures out that it's really a portal using the key she found in her dad's chair. She had to envision where she wanted to go and they image of the sundial was there and she stepped through.

Jeb said he and Taelor had a fight and he slipped in the rain, but then she remembered the key is a wish granter and she wished with all her heart that he was there with her when she was walking through the portal. (hide spoiler)]

I hope I explained that right. :)

Just finished chapter 11

Jeb and Morpheus (view spoiler)[ I was a little torn between the 2, but now I feel like I can't trust Morpheus because;

#1. He's in love with Ivory? So why is he so upset the she was kissing Jeb...and YES!! Woweee!!! What a kiss!! :)

And #2 he's definitely holding something back, I don't think he is out right lying, but omitting some truth for sure. Gossamer told Jeb that it was a test and not a mess that needed to be fixed. So I like Jeb more!! (hide spoiler)]

I love Jeb's nicknames for Morpheus too!! Hilarious! :D

And the Jabberlock was very creepy!
