Reddit thread on Ender's Game being overrated

So, what I am gathering here is that different people like different things and don't like it when people like what they don't like, or don't like what they do like.

I am glad that people don't like it and that others love it. That means we aren't buggers.

What I think is stupid is when people say the book is homophobic because the insect like bad guys are called buggers. I am glad that this conversation has stayed on the merits of the book and not on the politics/religion of the author.
