Excellent! I look forward to this week's show. I'd love to hear how Chandler envisions Goodreads after the acquisition and his thoughts on social reading online. I'll be tuning in tonight!

Loved the show which I always listen to while I have breakfast on Saturday morning. Great start to the weekend. I liked the observation about reading with a stylus being part of your prehensile memory. Not sure if those were exactly your words. That must be why I do it with non fiction books on my iPad. I never understood why I did it before but that was how i read textbooks while i was studying. Thanks Len.
Len, I had to smile when I heard on TKC 245, that that you had come so late to the joy of using a stylus, instead of your finger. Within a few hours of receiving my Kindle Fire 1st Generation when they first came I out, I realized I needed a stylus, because my finger was not precise enough. I got the same stylus you got for my first Kindle Fire. Later when I got a Kindle Fire 2nd Generation, I purchased a Universal Smart Phone/Smart Tablet stylus pen - Pack of 5 for $1.75. They are shorter than the stylus you and I first purchased. They have a plastic clip much like you might find on a pen. I find that I hold one of them much like a highlighter pen. I also find that my grip on the stylus where the clip is located stabilizes the stylus in my hand. I find that I prefer them over my original Amazon Basic stylus.
Len for your opening TKC tag line how about the following: "Welcome to the Kindle Chronicles, a weekly podcast for readers navigating the eBook revolution."
Glad to be joining TKC on Goodreads! Thanks for the tip in TKC 245, otherwise would not have thought to look. I'm an on-again-off-again Goodreads user as well.Bukowski is in the air today: immediately after I finished listening to TKC 245 today on my daily walk and heard Len's mention of Bukowski's Betting on the Muse in Comments "Price Dropped Kindle eBooks II" , my iPhone switched to Literary Disco episode 27. The FIRST book mentioned was...Bukowski's Betting on the Muse which turned out to be the randomly picked book off the bookshelf of one of the 3 podcasters in the game they play called Bookshelf Roulette. Coincidence? The universe winking at me? The ghost of Bukowski having a laugh? I thought it pretty funny, especially since I haven't thought of Bukowksi in years.
