Fallen
question
Am I the only one frustrated by Daniel?
Reading comments made me think that I also like Cam. But still, I love Daniel. When I think about him, I thought of someone. He is like Daniel since he doesn't want to reveal everything all at once. A person with so many secrets but you still feel close to that person. Sometimes I do get annoyed with the attitude of Daniel but then I smile because I can picture him again with someone. It was nice reading the Fallen series since I can relate with some experiences (not being dead then alive again and finding true love. but I wish for it to happen). Still love Daniel. :P

I think Daniel needs to calm it down, I bet he's been with a lot of girls and then Luce kisses Miles (I thought that was cute!) he seriously needs to calm down a notch. That's what I think, I've only read Fallen and Torment so far.
Me too, but that's at first but then as i continue with the series and I understand Daniel's side. :)
Cam does seem to appeal to most people more in the first book, but when we really learn who cam really is we realize why Daniel is being a douche bag! Read them all and you will see how amazing and loving Daniel is!!! Team Daniel!!
He didn't bother me so much in the first book but by the end of book 2 and 3 I was getting ticked off. I haven't even finished the last book because I couldn't handle the cheesy-ness!I may finish it someday but for now me and Daniel are not on speaking terms...
SPOILER ALERT FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T READ PAST FALLEN:
I was confused by Daniel in Fallen, angered by him in Torment, due to his controlling, (although I was also frustrated by Luce for being so reckless and cheating on him and now in Passion I'm falling in love with him again. I love the moments of his pov because it allows us to really see just how much he cares!

well i really like him so i don't want to say that there were moments in the series when he was not my favorite, but you're right. i think that's good though because that means that there were times when we're reading that we're open to another ending. that's all i ask for sometimes. that things aren't obvious. the only challenge here is that you know that you have to hate him or be annoyed with him at one point so that he can redeem himself.
I thought Daniel was too distant, but the fourth book does explain it, and you realise exactly what Daniel's about. It's kind of a 'Luce has to journey on her own' deal, for her to discover the truth.
Daniel has his good moments but i'm a Cam fan. He's mysterious, rebellious, slightly angelic, thoughtful and gorgeous (well in my head he is anyway), daniel just seems like a typical teenage guy, overprotective of his gf and quite dramatic. he's also boring sometimes, especially in rapture.
I was very annoyed by Daniel the whole series until the last book. Then I understood a bit better. There was a time I found myself wondering why Luce loved him?

he does need to get over the miles thing! it's not like he was faithful to her memory or anything

Ugh!! No!!! Im so frustrated with him!! I still love him but he needs to start talking damn it!!
no you are not the only one I CAN'T STAND THIS GUY >.< I HATE HIMMM Cam and miles are better :)
When I first read the book, Cam sounded like a hottie but until I found out about Daniel, it was weird but I still like Cam better than Daniel.
