When you know that in the hobbit book Gollum is described as being "the colour of darkness" or something along those lines, and yet in all of the films he is very pale and this confuses you

Tolkien, when you get mad at people because they make fun of the lord of the rings and also when you drive everybody in your family crazy and to a point where they will not watch the lord of the rings with you anymore because if they do they will rip their hair out, when you are a member of the council of elrond (best website EVER) and when you get mad a people because they don't call Ian McKellen, SIR Ian McKellen (he was knighted by the queen) and when you go around bored and start mumbling in elvish (sindarin) under your breath and when you guess what passing people would be in middle earth like elf, dwarf, human, ork, urk-hai, or wizard, also when you where super geeky t-shirts and a very disappointed when nobody gets them and when all you listen to is the hobbit and LotR music and when you wonder what you would be if you were in middle earth.That about sums it up, though i may have forgotten something.
