Wow you guys are on a major reading streak. I'm impressed. I wish I had the time to read that much.
I finished Aunt Dimity's Death. Good ghostie cozie, mild romance, bittersweet, but I'm sure the feeling will stay.I started Heat Risesearly, since I was able to grab it at the library. There's been a run on Castle lately. lol
I like it so far. Rook hasn't made a physical appearance yet and that's all I'm sayin'.
I just finished Dixie Cash's, Since your leaving can you take out the trash! It harkens to Janet Evanovich's style, lots of characters, and belly laughs thrown, with a murder mystery to boot.
A fun read.
Has anyone read the Fatal series by Marie Force? I just finished the 3rd book in the series. It is a good mix my mystery and romance with a great female lead character. Here is the first book in the series.
. On Amazon (and B&N I would think too) the books are less than $4 and are great reads (first book may be free, I think). Anywho, if you are looking for a great series with great and very likable characters give it a whirl :-)
I am now currently reading The Shoulders of Giants (A Jake Abraham Mystery) by Jim Cliff. So far it has been a very enjoyable read.
I also finished Before I Go To Sleep, very good! I'm going to take a break from the mysteries and finish Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker and The Forgotten Garden.
I am making my way through Karin Slaughter's Grant County Series. I'm currently on book 3, A Faint Cold Fear and so far, I'm really enjoying it. It's a light read with pretty interesting characters. I can't wait to finish this up so I can then go on to her Will Trent series!
Good Lord, I am not getting anywhere this weekend. Gave up on both of my books and decided to go with ebook Under the Dome (wonder if I can finish before the miniseries?) and Dreams of Joy.

I especially love that they are set in the south since I am from Alabama.

I agree. Every book I have read by Lisa Gardner I have liked!
I just finished reading Jim Cliff's The Shoulders of Giants (A Jake Abraham Mystery). I liked the book very much. My original review is on Amazon with a copy on our Good Review section.Having just recently finished Secret Lives by Gayle Farmer, I am anxious to begin reading the next five books in the Sessions and Browning series, Lethal Intent, Firestorm, Cold Fusion, Blind Trust & Something Wicked. But since I would like to put off reading the series until vacation, which starts in June, I have decided to read the new freebee: Hooked by Polly Iver.
I usually read only books that are a part of a series, but if this one isn't, and I have no indication that it is, it sounds interesting and I will read it anyway.

"Got Done reading Whiskey Sour I so Couldnt put it down I am so gonna read the rest of the series
Also read False Memory it was a very good horror/mystery book but then again i love Dean Knootz
Now i am starting on Bait & Harvest
I needed a break from the mystery ladies. lol I'll pick them up again in June. After much bouncing...I'm reading
for stash-busting (love it),
, and
for the Big Library Read.
I have started to re-read the Agatha Christie books. I read many of them 22 years ago. I hardly remember any of them. I just finished "Murder on the Links" and am going to start "The Mysterious Affair at Styles".
I just finished A Faint Cold Fear
and boy, did it end with me saying "Wow!" I can't say I cared for one of the main character's in this book. I didn't like the direction that the author took her in, however, it made the story that much more interesting.I'm going to take a short break from this series to continue working my way to through Lisa Gardner's FBI series with Quincy and Rainie. I started The Killing Hour
this morning. There are only 6 books in this series so hopefully I get it finished soon!

I gave up The Four Corners of the Sky, too "enchanting" for me. I gave up Under the Dome; it was, pardon me, but over my head. I'm not into sci-fi but I'll definitely watch the show.
I started The Mephisto Club yesterday and flew through a couple of chapters.
I finished with The Silence of the Lambs on audio... thought it was okay. It was one of those books where I actually think I rather just watch the movie. Of course, it could be that I know how awesome the movie is since I saw it first, and this just did not live up to my expectations. Also, the narrator did a poor imitation of Anthony Hopkins as Lecter. Now I am listening to Love the One You're With on audio, and will finish it today... I hope. Next up on audio? Seraphina!

Ut oh. I wanted to read Under the Dome. I bet it will be over my head too. I am not a huge sci-fi fan either. I am reading 11/22/63, which is a little sci-fi (time travel), and I am really enjoying that. I know Under the Dome is a BIG read and will take a lot of time and commitment. I am looking forward to the miniseries, and would like to read it first.

I read the The Mephisto Club a while back and liked it; however I think some of the other books in the series are better.

Yeah, that's what I've heard, too.
As for commitment to Dome, don't have it right now, since I've got sooo many books to read. I don't mind time travel, since I love history and have 11/22/63 on my Nook.
I just got the reminder that the group The Women's Mystery Club will start reading Blueberry Muffin Murder on Saturday, June 01. I recently finished the whole Hannah Swensen series and loved them. I am now a huge fan of Joanne Fluke & Hannah Swensen. I can't wait for the next book to be published.I highly do recommend that join the group and read the third, I believe, in the Hannah Swensen series, Blueberry Muffin. Perhaps you too will fall in love with reading about Hannah and her family and her 'curse,' not to mention (or think about) her delicious sounding recipes.
Wil, the recipes are awesome. I've tried a few. My mother is also addicted to series. She has read all of them so far. I'm just reading them when they come up here. But I love her cat.

I haven't gotten into any of the recipes, except when they mentioned adding ginger ale or similar sodas/pop to jello. I tried it out and like adding a flavored liquid to my jello in lieu of water.

"Ooh ooh, you are going to LOVE Shutter Island! I love that book. I started it at night and got so creeped out I had to finish it in one sitting the next morning. In the daytime. Where it was happy. And safe...
;)
Right now I am listening to Sex and the City in the car and reading 11/22/63 on my kindle. I won Silken Prey as a first read, and just recently received it, so I will go ahead and start that next. I have not read any of his books before, so I am looking forward to this book. I also plan on starting World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War in the next week.
I'm a big Laura Lippman fan - I just finished her latest
and I loved it. Now I'm trying to catch up on my Kay Scarpetta.I might also check out some of the books from this link for new 2013 female character mysteries: http://www.booklistonline.com/Product...
