~2011 fantasy novel where injured olympic runner hides from world at a cottage which is part of artist retreat. Ends up stumbling in the Faerie and getting caught up with faerie brothers, one knows that other is brother but human somehow while other does not learn until end of book. Figured with ending there should be a sequel but cannot remember title or author. Any help would be appreciated.

Happy to help. That book looks interesting. I wonder if it's similar to Charles De Lint's works? Think I'll add it to my to-read list.
Hey Lauren. It feels like years since I read De Lint, and I only read a few books. Perhaps The Very Best of Charles de Lint is a good intro to his style of urban fantasy and magic realism. I discovered urban fantasy (one of my favorite genres) through his writings.
Would recommend 'Spirit in the Wires' as a starter. DeLint one of my faves. Also you might want to check out some Gaimen, particularly 'American Gods'
Hi Louisa,Sorry I hadn't noticed your recommendation until now! I'll definitely try Spirits in the Wires. Already read many of Gaiman's, including American Gods, loved them!
