I has a question!
So um...I'd like to bring a character over to here to have someone to rp with other than Lunia and my Cerberus, but I wanted to make sure her powers wouldn't be too op(cause someone told me they were before)
This is what I would put for her powers, are there enough downsides to make them not overpowered? This is a copy paste from the original template I have for her.
✣ Animation- Aurai can bring to life inanimate objects/drawings, making them move/act on their own accord while working in tandem with her. The things she draws tend to listen to her more than a painting from a wall in a museum, because of the connection as she is the drawings creator.
Downside/disadvantage-
⋆ If she falls unconscious, anything she brings to life will revert back to their original state.
⋆ Bringing giant toys, life sized statues, etc. to life will exhaust her. She can bring to life little figurines or small toys, but anything bigger could cause her to lose consciousness.
⋆ If she tries to bring too many things to life at the same time, she will either lose control of them and the items will possibly go into a rampage, or she will lose consciousness and the items will revert back to their original state.
✣ Aerokinesis (Also known as Air Manipulation)- Aurai can shape and manipulate air and all forms of wind from tornadoes, hurricanes, vertical drafts, micro-bursts and other devastating forms of wind. Naturally can also create any less extreme air/wind movement. (Or at least she will be able to when she masters her power; as of now the most she could do was redirect a gentle breeze)
She will also be able to enhance her speed by using compressed air pressure for supersonic bursts (Another thing she has yet to master)
She will eventually be able to make a wall of high pressurized air to defend herself like a shield against certain items(again with her disadvantages to this power, the right person could break through her shield and overpower her)
Downside/disadvantage-
⋆ Ineffective in a vacuum: atmosphere must be present. Variations in air-pressure tends to complicate things for her as she is a beginner when it comes to this power.
⋆ She can only manipulate the air in a twenty foot radius around her with intense concentration, ten feet with normal concentration, and five feet if she is making minimal effort.
⋆ If she is exhausted, physically or mentally, she cannot create her own wind and has to draw on already existing sources to manipulate.
⋆ Is weak against anyone with Fire manipulation, as fire is fueled by oxygen in the air and would make the opposing flames stronger
⋆ High level Electricity manipulators can use electrons to detonate the various compound molecules within the air and overwhelm her.

And.....tornadoes? Overpowered, yes....
Mmm....I'll be more specific and say she cannot draw something like that, though she would have to make something extremely detailed to have it be specifically to spread world disease and kill....
Also, something of that magnitude would require a lot of energy to make and form into something real and would likely make her pass out and it would then revert into its paper form.

But if she has the ability....... So one day, when she masters everything, she'll be indestructible?
But in order for the pill to be able to cause world destruction, she would need several million of them to effect enough of the population to cause any damage and she can't hold that many things in animation without passing out and it reverting to paper again.
And on top of that all one would have to do is knock her out to turn the pills back to paper and make them harmless again.
When she masters everything, she'll still be weak to fire and electricity manipulators for starters, as well as she is limited by her body and mind. ?? How could a pill be contagious? And how would she draw a pill with the specific ability to cause world destruction? The most she might be able to do is replicate a generic pill using the shape and serial number found on the pill.
Okay, what if i include that she can only bring to life things that already exist? She wouldn't be able to draw something like a pill that could cause world destruction that way since there is no such pill invented?

Shu wanted you to look over the powers after she looked it over to make sure they wouldn't come off as Overpowered because I wanted to know if they would or not before making a charrie with those powers.
I like it. Lots of drawbacks that make sense with her powers, and you've proven responsible insofar. Shu, if Sakura blows up the world, you can blame me.

I have a question about a character I created that I'd like to have here, but i'm not sure if her backstory will be too.....ah....intense....for the group so I'd like to message a mod with my character so you can decide if it would be okay for her to be in the group or not.

Okay so I have a few questions, bare with me here...||| So the line minimum is now 5 lines, correct? (That's what I got out of the rules but there were so many added I just want to be sure, not that I can't get that out pretty easily)
||| The werewolves, are there any specific rules for them? Can they shift any time or only during full moon? When do they normally turn wolf? I know in the myths its puberty, but I just want to be sure before I make my character

1- The minimum is 4 lines actually, that was my bad ^_^"
2- There is no set rules for werewolves, you can essentially make them following whatever myths or anything you want to draw from.
3- From what I've gathered, essentially any time they are in high school? So probably any time between they would be attending from 9th-12th grade (A mod will be able to give you a more definitive answer)
4- There's a huge plethora of all kinds of different species so there's nothing they are necessarily short on.
5- There isn't, though some people (me included) use certain FC's for their characters

Okay, give me a little power summary for the 11 elements you're thinking of and I'll figure it out.
^_^ okay.Fire- invulnerability in terms of being unable to be burned by normal fires, though clothes and any items they hold will still be burned. Still can succumb to suffocation from smoke inhalation, and any form of holy, or demonic flames will still burn them. If there is a means in which they can harness fire nearby (ie- a nearby flame, a lighter, candle, cigarette) they can manipulate small balls of flame no larger than 3 feet in diameter and can only manipulate them up to 4 miles away.
Water- Same as Fire, with the imperviousness to drowning
Earth- pretty much Avatar the last airbender earthbending skills
Wind- same as Earth
Ice- same as Earth
Light- The polar opposite of Darkness sibling.
Darkness/Shadow- Can only manipulate or warp through existing shadows, cannot create own shadows to phase through to other locations
Metal- Cannot manipulate strong metals that are impervious to normal destructive means, but can do things like pick locks by manipulating the metal bolts within doors.
Lightning- Can only manipulate lightning when there is a storm in which lightning is present, though if desperate could make one via static electricity. Cannot create own lightning bolts
Destruction- (Alodia is actually one of the siblings, so her power will be most prevalent in terms of the destruction element)
Life- This is not an ability to instill life, but is more like the polar opposite of the destruction sibling. they can essentially balance out and fix or restore what the destruction ability sibling destroys, but that's about it.

I have issues with a lot of these, but a basic ability to manipulate all elements should be fine as long as the elements are better defined and basic is restricted to basic.

This group hasn't been active in months. I'd love for it to be, but most of the mods are on leave so I'm not sure who'll approve your character.
Yeah, the group's been kind of dead for a while now :Pngl would love to see a revamp of it but that's probs not gonna happen
still happy to see people joining it though :) maybe if we got enough new members, something great could still come about it ~
