Got it! Thank you, J. I will be sending the book out shortly. Trying to figure out some new little thing to add to it. :-D

Lovely. That would be so sweet of you if you'd add a little something in the Notebook. Very exciting! Thank you in advance for that! :-)

Just saw this. *bounce* Looking forward to seeing what everyone has done.
No hurry, though.
Thanks for taking care of me Johanna. Tina PM'd me awhile ago that she is next in line, after me. I'll PM her when it comes my way.

My pleasure. :-)
Oh good, Tina has already sent you a message. She has been waiting for a long time to get the Notebook. Well, she'll be one of the first ones to see what Josh has added to it — that'll be a neat consolation after the long wait. :-)

Thanks, it arrived safely. <3
I just want to check in with the traveling notebook.
We're getting close to the UK Meet and I'm bringing it with me, so I'll need to get it sometime next month.
Looks like Reggie still has it? And Tina and Joe still need to get it before I do, correct?
I'll try to remember to bring the notebook to our dinner on Friday night so we can all get a look at it!

The notebook has made it to the east coast actually to Tina. It arrived today!
That is all the info I have. Except to say it is quite lovely. It is filled with warm wishes, lovely poems, pictures and stories. =D
Thank you, Reggie! I'm so happy that Tina finally got the notebook after waiting for it patiently for almost a year. :-)

Because the Notebook is currently in the east coast of US, maybe Tina could send it to you, Jordan, next. That way you would have time to add your greetings in it before you'll bring it to Bristol. It looks like it takes approximately one month for the notebook to visit one person. ;-) I can send it to Joe after Bristol. How does that sound?

That sounds fine. I promise I won't need a month with it though, a week, max. lol. So, if the Tina and Joe can and want to share it between now and the end of May, they certainly can.

A little over three weeks until the UK Meet — I was wondering how is it going with our Traveling Notebook? Does Tina have it or has it already found its way to Jordan?
The plan is that it would travel with Jordan to Bristol. :-)

I emailed Jordan earlier, but I also wanted to let the group know that the notebook is finally out of my clutches and on its way to her. She should have it in plenty of time for the UK meet.
I really enjoyed reading all the entries. Such a fun, kind, and creative bunch we have here. :-)

Hello, Tina! How have you been?! Thank you for letting us know the whereabouts of the notebook. ;-)
I'm really looking forward too see what you and others have added in it! What a fun way to connect this is -- like diary and letters combined and shared. :-)

Hi Johanna! :-)
I've been fine, just busy. I miss hanging out around here.
I really enjoyed the notebook. I hope I get to see it during a second round. :-)

We've missed you too, Tina. And yes, the notebook INSISTS to come and see you during its second round! :-)
Let's start a new list here after the UK Meet, okay?

Wow, the word INSISTS looks real weird. Like one of the title acronyms of Josh's books: TGWYS, CUTYS, TBWTPT and INSISTS.
:-D
:-D
Don't forget, not that you will, but Joe was supposed to get it before me. So he should be one of the first on the new list.

The traveling notebook just arrived!
This is the coolest thing EVER! I love all of your contributions.

:-) Thank you, Johanna! Sounds like a good plan. I'm already looking forward to seeing the new contributions. :-)

So please put me on the list, but more on the bottom.

It is one of the loveliest ideas readers ever came up with -- and readers come up with a LOT of lovely ideas.

Great to see that The Notebook already has so many new addresses and adventures to look forward to!

There is still lots of room left in the notebook, so I think revisits are definitely in order. I won't put my name on the list just yet, since I've already added two things to it recently, but perhaps in the future I'll get one last look before it heads to Josh's.
Starting a new list of names and destinations for our Traveling Notebook. The names aren't yet in no particular order, just writing them down so we won't forget anyone and later on we can start planning the route for the Notebook.
I haven't added anything to it yet, but I'll do it as soon as possible. I was also quite amused when hubby asked me in London if he could write a few words in it, too. ;-) He saw how excited everyone was about the little book and how even in the train on our way to London Hambel and Jordan wrote in it and how it was Caroline's turn when we arrived in Paddington. :-)
Johanna (Finland, where the Notebook currently is)
Joe (US)
Carlita (US)
Sabine (Germany)
Karen (US)
Alison (New Zealand)
Calathea (Germany)
Jordan? (US)
Hambel (UK)
Anyone else?

Aww, did you let him write in it?
I'd like to write in it again at some point please :)

Ha! The happiness around this little notebook is drawing everybody in. :-) Did he write something?

I love thinking about all the places the book goes and all the lovely people it meets :)
Yep, hubby has written in it. :-)
He's sincerely puppy-like happy about all the people he has met and all the ones he has become friends with — lovely people he wouldn't have ever met if it wasn't for Josh and his writing. And I, of course, wholeheartedly agree with him.
I still regret I never took a picture of hubby and Blaine's hubby holding the Fanyon get-together signs in Bristol at the Friday night event! They we very committed to their Fanyon-duty there. LOL. Did anyone happen to take a photo of that? Blaine? Anyone? There was something very cute in that sight. ;-)

That was definitely a bonus, to meet the Fanyon hubbys :)
Yes, that was awesome that they took their Fanyon duties very seriously. And adorably cute too.
Sadly, I didn't get a picture.
All this talk makes me wish I were back in England with all of you. I miss you guys and the fun we had!

Our Traveling Notebook is now on its way to Joe (US). Joe also hinted that he has one of our traveling books The General and the Horse-Lord by Sarah Black. If any of you is interested in reading that one, Joe is happy to send it to you.
Sooooo, what I would suggest is that the Traveling Notebook could travel in US for a while and then maybe head to Alison's direction to New Zealand. How does that sound? And after that maybe come back to Europe?
And everyone who hasn't heard about our Notebook — it's literally a notebook that travels from group member to another and ends up living with Josh when it's full (or falling apart). It has many wonderful treasures and heartwarming stories in it already. :-)
Joe --> Matthias (US)
Carlita (US)
Karen (US)
Jordan (US)
Alison (New Zealand)
Sabine (Germany)
Calathea (Germany)
Hambel (UK)
Idamus (Denmark)
Anyone else interested?

You can take that question mark off my name, if you'd like. Just keep me at the end of the US Tour, please! I don't mind shipping it overseas. :-)
